184 this morning.

Firewood arrives today; I only got four cords this year. I figure the price of heating fuel is low enough I'm going to try and burn more of that and less wood. It's a tremendous and dirty chore burning wood.

91 (5.04) this morning.  Looks like it will be a bit cooler the next couple of days and then warming back up.
@Sweety, it probably will take a couple of days to return to normal, at least that seems how it works for me.

@Tamagno, yeah, with the current cost of wood here and much lower propane cost it starts to be a toss up and wood is definitely much dirtier and a lot more work.  We only got 2 cords last year and didn't use all of that.

AJ is out of town and he forgot his meter at home. So I decided to check my own BG today. I didn't change the needle. I hope that is OK  ~cnf~

The reading turned out to be 87  ;D

168 this morning.

So, now I've got to stack that wood. I figure even if I only do a little bit every day, it'll all get in the shed by burning time around the end of October.

82 (4.54) this morning.  Apparently the winds have changed and we had almost no smoke yesterday.   ~clp~
@Tamagno, Yes !  A little bit at a time is by far the best way to do it.

74 (4.1) this smoky morning, 77 (4.27) at bedtime last night.

Temps warming some, and the wind changed direction bringing the smoke from distant fires back into the valley.

126 this morning.

Actually, SKB, Big Pharma friend's an MD. He's the one I'm studying ancient Hebrew with (I've almost got the alphabet down along with drawing the letters).

Turns out we had dinner of slow-cooked, wood-smoked pulled pork, crowder peas and cole slaw - about 13 carbs in all.
