95 (5.26) this morning.  All weather gurus seem to be in agreement that we are going to have rain starting late this afternoon with the majority overnight.  They claim that there is a chance of some snow tomorrow but I doubt it.  Low temp. this morning 53° (11.7°C) so it will have to get a lot colder.
Saw the Endo yesterday and didn't get much enlightenment.  He still feels that the drug they gave me in the hospital to bring the calcium down may still be masking the parathyroid so it's "come back in 6 weeks".  As a result I'm still waiting to find a cause for why this happened in the first place.  Everything right now is normal but I am having to take supplements to keep it there.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

it's infuriating, isn't it? I had every cussed test under the sun before doc referred me to an endo, and by the time I got in to see the endo, my serum calcium levels had dropped back by themselves, so nothing was ever determined. They did, however, say that my parathyroids were all right, which is nice to know, since the remaining lobe of my thyroid has apparently dried up & died (half of it was removed back in the 70s).  :o  If I could ever get a peek at my chart, I'd like to know what the notes say about it.  >:(

66 (3.66) this snowy morning, 72 (3.99) at bedtime last night.

Well the weather predictions missed the mark.  They said 1-3" of snow on the valley floor.  I woke up to 8" of new snow and it has been snowing lightly all day. Probably 2 more inches.  My neighbor plowed my driveway for me but I'm not going anywhere!!

85 (4.71) this morning.  Well, the weather gurus were right on, we have received 1.85 inches of rain overnight and it is still raining.   ~sup~ 
They still say a chance of snow later today but the temp is 47° (8.3°C) right now so it will have to drop quite a bit. 
This is really great for this area and much needed.

Yes, that is a lot of snow Barbara, hope you can stay inside and keep warm !

@SKB and Shanny, I am not really frustrated, at least not yet, but more puzzled.  I also have had about every test that doctors could think of.  The good thing about that is that a lot of things were shown to be normal and while it didn't help determine a cause for my high calcium level it's nice to know that some things are working just as they should. 
On the plus side all of my levels are in the normal range right now, although I have to take supplements to keep them normal.  My doctor is keeping a close watch to keep from having to go through that again and I know what it feels like so I believe I know when it is necessary to go to the ER.  Still hoping to get some answers though.

115 today morning.

Had a nice lunch with my friend from Australia. 4 kids in the house was a lot of chaos. Mom coming in a few hours. Happy dopey :)

Yep, it is a lot of snow!!  And it is going to stay where it is for a while!  It is 10°F (-12.22°C) out side right now with the wind chill factor it feels like -5°F (-20.55°C) and it will be much colder overnight!

I am staying in and by the fire!

I'll be traveling to Europe next month & will encounter a lot of snow there. Time to hunt for my warm clothing.

Rocky- My mom is the same as yours. Low carb and mom's food dont go together very well, in my case. :) But we are both meeting halfway!

76 (4.21) this morning.  Bright and sunny this morning and the storm is out of here.  Temp. this morning 20° (-6.7°C)  but no precipitation so no snow.  Looks like it will be sunny for the next few days so no white Christmas this year.   :(
We did get snow for Christmas last year though :

It will only let me post one photo. So here is what the morning temp was at 9:45AM.  And of course I have frozen water pump.   :( Pump man still has not called back or showed up.  I expect he is really busy!

-20°F (-28.88°C) and it is all of 5°F (-15°C) right now.
