Glad you got a good report at the eye dr Grammabear.

182 this morning.

The ridiculous exhaustion I used to have occasionally has become daily and is really getting in the way of doing much. I'll be seeing my oncologist in about a week who'll do blood work and maybe have some ideas; hope so anyway.

97 this morning.  The high yesterday was 78° and that is going to change starting today with about a 10° drop and it is going to be quite windy today and tomorrow, I'm like you Barbara, I hate the wind.  Still looking like a good chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sorry you are having issues Tamagno.  I sometimes feel like I was rung out and just can't seem to get going and don't really know what the reason is.  Hope you get an answer.

120 this morning.

Thanks all. I'm sure I'll get this figured out - I'm thinking the coming spring has got to help plus in week we change clocks.

104 this morning.

Last night we changed clocks, so I lost an hour of sleep.  I wish they would leave the time alone, so we wouldn't have to go through this silliness twice a year.

It is 41 deg F at present with a high of 61 deg today, however we have winds at 16 mph out of the south.

89 this morning.  It is going to be another windy day but it still looks good for rain Tuesday.  The whole of Southern California is supposed to see significant rainfall and snow in the mountains so after a dry February I hope it does as predicted.
Time change didn't bother me, I set the clocks ahead before going to bed. It was just a bit darker in the morning but not disrupting.

102 this partly cloudy morning.

59° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 49°/30° with a chance of snow this evening.

I personally hate the time changes. I always feel sort of off for a couple of days. At least the Spring forward one is easy to reset all the clocks one hour forward.

Sometime ago, India was pondering over having two time zones, because the East and West are something like 2000 miles apart and daylight hours are significantly different.
I haven't heard further about this.

85 this morning.

Actually, I totally forgot about the time change and didn't notice until my wife pointed it out.

SKB, seems like I see things on this occasionally. There used to be a movement to change calendars so that everything (days of the week for example) would be metricized. I think the book on that is in the basement next to my Esperanto grammar. Both only for emergencies...

82 this morning.  It still looks good for rain tomorrow for all of Southern California.  We are told that it could be 1/2 to 3/4 inch here which would be great.  Snow in the mountains over 7000 feet will help a lot also.
There is a push in the USA for keeping the Daylight Savings Time all year long and not changing back in the winter.  I would like that but it takes the government to enact it so no idea how long that could take.

I agree with all your comments regarding time.  I also agree with Barbara's statement that she feels a bit "off".  It seems that it is very easy to over sleep and get up SO much later.  Not that anyone is demanding I get up at a certain time, but just out of my regular routine.  I wish they would leave the time alone.

I spent a good part of yesterday struggling with changing my husband's cell phone number over to a iphone.  There is a lot of difficulty for me dealing with a person who has a hispanic accent.  My hearing isn't great and their speech is so fast.  I found myself apologizing for asking her to repeat herself so many times.  Sigh....but in the end we got the job done.  He now can use a touch screen instead of a flip phone that constantly frustrated him.  Just don't know what to do with the old flip phone.

48° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 46°/24°.

Today is errand day and garbage to the top of the road. The road is mostly dry but huge pot holes and one big one still with water in it. Ugh!

In India, today we celebrate the festival of Holi, which is the onset of Spring.
This is a festival of colours and you can read more about it here.

Personally, we don't play Holi, as we're averse to all the colors being splashed around, and some people taking all kinds of liberties.
