132 rebound high after a low of 61 at 3a.m.

Today I have an appointment with a podiatrist who takes impressions of feet for orthotics and Medicare shoes.  I never knew that back pain and knee pain can be influenced by improper fitting shoes.  I guess one is never too old to learn something new.

Our Hollyhocks are in full bloom now.  It seems wonderful to see bits of color in our yard once again.

91 this morning.  We had a high of 105°  yesterday so 2°  below the predicted high.  It is supposed to be 108°  today and the same every day through Saturday then start to cool down a bit.
I think we are going to see a requirement to wear masks until there is a vaccine.  Unfortunately many refuse to wear a mask and the number of cases is going um an several places.  There is a statewide requirement to wear masks in California now but it is unknown how it will be enforced, if at all.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

107 this sunny morning.

78° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 87°/55°. Getting in the range of temperatures I don't like...

Feeling better at last, not 100% but much better, just a little coughing in the morning yesterday hopefully today will be even better. I'm not pushing doing anything though just taking it easy.

I agree with Wally, I think masks will be the order until a vaccine is developed. It won't bother me,  I'd still rather be safe than sick.

I think I need to find a decent back brace until I get the compression fractures in my back fixed - driving or riding in a car has become almost impossible even with lidocaine patches on my back. I'll have to see what's available and looks reasonable.

108 this morning.

I learned yesterday that our youngest son is coming next week for a visit and is bringing our grandson who just turned 20.  We haven't seen him for almost 6 months.  It will be a fun reunion.

Tamagno - Could you get a recommendation for back brace from one of your Doctor friends?  Sorry you have this issue, sounds quite painful.

87 this morning.  We got to 107°  yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today.  It is supposed to start cooling down a bit over the weekend and actually get below 100°  for a couple of days.
Tamagno, a back brace sounds like it would be well worth trying.  Back problems can be really difficult so I hope it helps.

Another 107 this partly cloudy morninmg.

80° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 84°/55°.

I hope you can find a brace that will give you some relief Tamagno.

Feeling better each day. However today I woke up withe a puffy left eye I guess something bit me overnight...great... I was going to go out today to pick up my strips at the PO but not looking like this... sheesh!

I've been put off getting an appointment with an orthopod on account of the flu business. I'll try calling their office later today.

98 this morning.

This week's weather has been beautiful.  Lots of sunshine during the day followed by a gentle rain at night a few times.  However the heat and humidity will return by weeks end and we can expect another crop of mosquitoes soon.

Going out to run my errands in a bit. I have so little energy, it is probably going to exhaust me.

There's been a lot less cooking around here lately since there's been less shopping, but its nice weather and I'd like to grill something tonight. Likely pork or chicken done somehow or other.
