5901 steps yesterday.  Not a good day, it seemed like everything hurt at the same time.  I did manage to get my steps in each hour but even that was difficult.  I felt better as the day went on but my enthusiasm wasn't there.  It will be interesting to see how it goes today.

4382 steps yesterday.  It has been two months since I stopped the statin and I thought I was making progress but it seems like I am back to square one.  I am beginning to think the statin was not my problem.  I will keep plugging along to see if there is any change but right now it doesn't look like it.  I am still getting my min. 250 steps in each hour but often that is the most I can do.

Sorry to hear that Wally. I hope you can work it out. At least you are able to do some and that is better than nothing.

5463 steps yesterday.  I'm OK with not making a certain number of steps each day.  I remember Shanny's saying "getting older ain't for sissies" and that is true but it beats the alternative.  I am more interested in making the goal to walk at least 250 steps each hour and anything over that is just depending on how I feel.  If I can get over 7K I will but if I don't feel like it I am not going to worry about it.  I had hoped that stopping the statin would help but so far it doesn't look like it.

Wally it still may be the statin slowing you down. You took it for a long time, who knows how long it will take to fully clear your system? I went through a really rough patch for a while and I totally understand just doing what you can and not stressing over it.

Finally, I got my butt moving and re-started my workouts. Slow and Steady is the way to go and that is what I did. Yesterday did a road walk of about 2.0 kms. Today morning, a mixed TM routine of walk/run/climb worth about 100 kcal, which is like a 2.0 km walk. Will probably repeat this in the evening.

7463 steps yesterday.  I felt much better yesterday and didn't have any of the problems I have been dealing with the last few days.  I agree that it may take a while to see any change from quitting the statin and also some days are just better than others so it is just take each day as it is and do what is possible.  The good thing is that I can walk as much as I do and I am not in that bad of a condition.  Many people my age are in a lot worse shape so I'm thankful for what I have.

Toda I was delayed in getting on to my TM but I did do a quick walk/run of a mile. Wanted to do 2km but I gave up midway as I didn't want to push myself too much. Yet I kept the running component @ 60%

7772 steps yesterday 12/12  Another decent day without any real problems.  I am also going to put up my hours that I managed to get min 250 steps in as that is also one of my goals.  Easy to keep track of as the Fitbit records that also and gives you a reminder to get your steps in 10 min before the hour ends if you haven't gotten there.

10,932 steps yesterday. I use the Maipo app on my phone and it shows how many steps you take each hour. I do normally get well over 250 steps except for when I fall asleep in the recliner...

4572 steps yesterday.  I had really bad leg cramps early in the morning, about 2:00 AM, and my calf muscle was really sore all day so I decided to just do my steps each hour and didn't try to get more total steps in.  The reason I set a goal to get a min. step count in each hour is because I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer. It is a hobby of mine to try and create things with a CAD program to print on my 3D printer.  Some useful and some just for fun.  I get involved and would sit for hours on end if I didn't stop and take time to walk.  My understanding is that sitting for long times is bad and moving from time to time helps.  I am using the Fitbit reminder to get up and move and that helps a lot.
