Well, the Apple watch is not a good step counter ever but when you are holding on to the walker it is really bad.  I found that if I carry the phone in my front pocket it is doing a very accurate job of counting.  I just need to remember to place it in my pocket when I get up to walk anywhere.  I have counted each step for 100 steps and the phone tracker was right in line with my count so I thing it is working just fine.  It may be because I don't put my weight on the walker but just rest my hands on it so if I had a possibility of falling I can grab onto it.

If your watch and phone are synched you can find the Stepz App on the watch as well and that will pick up the count from your phone. The watch step counter sucks.

6,195 steps yesterday.

Today the grab bars will be installed, shower heads switched, and hall light replaced. Yay! Getting close to back to "normal" here!

Now I am counting the days until the brace can be off forever!! Jan 31st is appointment with the dr that will decide that.

ETA Glad to see you posting here again Wally!!

I don't know how this comment ended up on Wally's post! It was from me. Maybe I did some moderator stuff that did that??

Well, 3261 steps yesterday.  I really had just hoped to get at least 2000 steps so this is actually much better than I was expecting.  Today I am starting out a bit sore so I am not expecting to do any better and probably less.  That's OK at least I am moving a bit more.

Lots of following the handyman around, just to see how things were going...

3198 steps yesterday.  I started out a bit sore so I really didn't think I would even get to 2000 steps but I felt better as the day went by and actually felt a lot better towards the end of the day.  Starting out today a bit sore also so we will just have to see how that goes, still I am doing better than I thought I would so far.  What I wonder is if I am going to improve on what I can do now.  I am going to keep that as my goal for now.

I must have done some sort of Moderator thingy that I have no clue about... Hopefully skb can figure it out.

Yeah, when I first saw that I thought "I didn't write that" then I saw Barbara's post and that she somehow got it added to my post.  It isn't a big deal and kind of funny but then it could be a problem and probably should be looked into.  Right now I don't see it as a problem but I guess it could be exploited in the future by someone. That is if we ever get any more members.  It seems like we have someone introduce themselves and it sounds like we have another member then they never post again.  I really don't understand that.

Yep, you clicked the "Quick Edit" instead of the "Quote" right next to it.  BTDT but corrected it.

Well, that depends on the member's rights. Barbara could do it because she has Moderator rights.

Some legit members did find us and posted Introductory posts, but our activity level is so low, it isn't surprising that they decide to go away. We, on the other hand, have a common history and tend to stick together. BTW, our domain renewal is due on the 29th this month. I am going to do it, which would give us another year of life.

5,351 steps yesterday.

I may be doing a bit too much as I am exhausted by about 10PM and that is so early for the "old" me. And then I am getting up just after 7AM which is so early for the "old" me... I guess this is the new me???

2009 steps yesterday.  Not close to the 3000 steps the two days before but I didn't feel bad I just had a lot of chores to take care of that kept me busy so didn't walk as much.  Today I expect to be back to working on improving.
Yeah, the fact that it required a moderators rights means that ordinary members couldn't use it for any "bad" use so not a big deal then.  Glad you are going to renew SKB.  I don't know how long we will go on but I intend to stick around.
I've noticed that you are posting earlier than before Barbara.  It looks like your schedule changed when you were in rehab.  I go to bed early, around 8-9:00PM and usually get up around 5-5:30AM as a regular routine.  That it a carry over from when I was working and we started at 6:00AM.
