I don't drive that much either. Biggest trip is 70 mile round trip to dr up in town but normally that is only 2x a year. Mostly just around town here to PO and drug and grocery stores.

One more month until my next (hopefully) last Neurosurgeon apt. Maybe I will finally be free!!

That sounds pretty impressive. In terms of distance I suppose that would mean around 2.7 or 2.8 kms. On a day that I don't walk on the tread mill, that's about as much as I manage.

5,323 steps yesterday. Down a bit but I'm OK with that.

3270 steps yesterday.  A bit below what I strive to do but not that bad.  Part of the reason I don't get more steps some days is that I get involved in some project and don't have the time for walking.  I still manage to get to standing each hour so at least there is that.

5,427 steps yesterday. It may not be a spectacular # but I do strive to get up and move around each hour, some days are better than others...

4826 steps yesterday.  That is the best day so far since I started to keep track again.  The interesting thing will be how I do today.  I started out today a bit sore so I am not sure.
The "other" diabetes forum still has my email so once in a while I get an update from them so I dropped by yesterday just to peek in.  They are not any where as active as they were when we were members, only about 2-3 regulars with someone posting once in a while.  For their membership it is not much at all.  I guess that kind of supports the idea that we are not doing anything wrong, just not that many people using forums as opposed to social media nowadays.
This may have been brought up before but would it be viable to move this to something like Facebook?  I belong to a couple of groups for 3D printing that seem pretty good but it may take a lot more effort to keep up with bad actors there also, I don't know how any of that works.

That is interesting about the "other" forum. I don't get any communications from them at all. I guess I am persona non grata since I was a moderator that left. No great loss.

I have no desire to join FB, I don't do any SM at all. I hope we can keep up as is for as long as possible. Then cross that bridge when the time comes...

Forums across the internet and on a variety of subjects have dwindling numbers. The only forums that are thriving (comparatively) are those that are devoted to software. I guess their user base understands the difference between a forum and other social media platforms.

Forums are designed in a structure that is very functional. FB doesn't have that structure and posts will tend to get lost and lose their importance because they are all set chronologically, irrespective of the subject matter.

5,716 steps yesterday.

I seem to have settled in the 5,000 step range, that is OK, it has been pretty consistent and I know I can work back to the 7,000 range and higher eventually, everything in it's time.

3035 steps yesterday.  I am OK with that, I got a late start and then got involved is some other things so I didn't devote as much time to walking but I am going to try to do more today.

Felt tired yesterday, so took it easy.  Last night didn't sleep well as it was windy and noisy outside so today may be on the lower end too.

3574 steps yesterday.  Any time I manage over 3500 I am going to consider that as a positive.

That is me with 5,000 right now. I could push and do more, but the end result will be less for days to come, not worth it.
