2423 steps yesterday.  Well.......I was moving, just not that much.  I did manage to stand and move for 16 out of 16 hours!  Other than that it was, lets see......a snow day! Well, not really, it just snowed for a 1/2 hour and didn't stick so.......It rained all day!  Except I was inside. ~owl~
I think I was just lazy yesterday but a slow day is OK once in a while I think.

I am not sure, 27something.  Like a dope I reset my pedometer without writing it down this morning.  Still not too good.  I had Diarrhea all day and still this morning so not feeling too well.  I don't really feel sick, no fever or nausea just kind of blah.  I thought that after an easy day before that yesterday I would do great but it didn't work out that way. Hoping for a better day today.

3321 steps yesterday.  Not great but I am feeling a lot better and finally am over the diarrhea.  I don't know where that came from but glad it is gone.
Yeah I know it is not fun to have to wear a brace but sometimes we have to go through these things.  The big thing is that it is doing it's job and thankfully it will be done soon.  I wish I could walk without the aid of a walker and I am trying to do as much as I can to maybe do better but it is probably not going to change much.  I wish I could make 10,000 steps a day like I used to do but it is not going to happen, I know that.  But we do what we can do and on the other hand I am grateful that I can walk at all and can manage many things myself that others my age need help to do.  I did my laundry yesterday and that may seem like nothing but the fact that I can do it without any help is a really good thing.

Glad you are feeling better Wally!

I know, I am just frustrated and uncomfortable in this brace but I also know it won't be forever (I hope!). It is hard for me to be so dependent so much on others to do the things I have always been able to do myself.

I know the brace is helping me heal that is why I go through this misery day to day, hoping it will soon be over.

I know the challenges Wally, fortunately I was able to do my own laundry from the start with the help of my old grabber tool. (Jury is out on the new one, it is so different from my old one.) You are lucky to be able to drive and go when you want...that is one of my biggest challenges. I'm hoping my neighbor can take me on one more shopping trip by the end of this week. Last one will be after appt on Mar 15.

You are so right about doing what we are able to do and being grateful for that!

Did a climb 31:50 min / 2.3 km / 189 cal and upped the strength training and weights a bit. Want to reach where I left off within a week.

6,454 steps yesterday.

Thank goodness my neighbor agreed to take me grocery shopping at the end of the week...that will add to the steps then...  I guess from my track record, I grocery shop 2X a  month. Will sure be glad when I can drive myself!

(Now I have to worry if my car will even start when I can drive again! It has been sitting in the garage since 12/15/22 the last time I drove.)

3021 steps yesterday.  I am not doing as well as I would like but that is just what it is.
I wouldn't think you would have a problem with your car Barbara unless there was something wrong that would cause a drain on the battery or if you have a problem with rodents.  That was the only problem I had when my car sat for a long time.  The dang pack rats got in and chewed my wiring.  I was able to replace it and get going again but I have the ability to do that myself which helped a lot.

My carr was fine when I last drove it. I have had problems in the past with mice, but that was before I had 14 cats running around...all great mousers. I guess I'll just have to wait and see... I do have AAA so they can come and charge it if that is what it needs. I guess I am just a worrier...

You could just start the car every few days and keep the engine running on idle for a few minutes. That should help.
