3123 steps yesterday.  It rained all day yesterday so I enjoyed walking around and looking out the window.  We don't get that much rain here so it is nice when we do.  It is also nice that I don't have to be out in it and can enjoy it from inside.

I usually add in a little bit of carbs to gain a bit of weight if I want. Sometimes, only sometimes.

I have added a few more carbs but still losing weight. I really don't want to add too many carbs in...my #'s will pay the price.

2873 steps yesterday.  My body just doesn't seem to be working like I would want it to.  When I am standing for a bit my back starts to give me a lot of pain and I just have to sit for a while.  It doesn't make it easy to try and get any walking in.  I think I have to come to the realization that I am getting old and the parts are getting worn out!

Was kindof hard to "Like" that Wally. Sorry you are having some problems. Maybe it is the change of seasons settling in your back and slowing you down some?

I guess all I can say is what I say to myself too..."Just do what you can and be happy that you can still move around when you can..."

2647 steps yesterday.  That's OK Barbara I just like to whine once in a while.  It is not the weather it's just that my back has been a problem for some time and along with the sciatica and muscle pain it has caused me to have a harder time.  I am trying to do some strength training to improve it but it is slow.  The spine specialist is supportive of this and I see him next month where we will discuss injections to help but I think that would be for nerve pain only and that doesn't seem to be my problem.  I think the exercise is the answer so I am going to stay with that.

Like I said just sitting for a while is not going to do anything to your car.  The worse thing that can happen is that it won't start and then you can call AAA.  I have no idea why you would think that for some reason sitting for a while and not being driven would make your car become dangerous to start.  Even if you don't plan to go anywhere go ahead and start your car and let it run for a bit, just a couple of minutes, so you are ready when you need to go somewhere.

2672 steps yesterday.  I am just chugging along when I get up and walk for a few steps at my "get up and move" each hour and it doesn't add up to a lot but it is moving.
Yeah Barbara, risking falling is not worth it at all.  Trying to walk on the snow is a real hazard.  I remember when we lived on the mountain walking outside after a snowfall and especially the next day after it had frozen it was really difficult to keep from falling down.
