7,097 steps yesterday. I am happy with that number, hit my 7,000 step goal and feel pretty good this morning.

4413 steps yesterday.  I actually felt better than I thought I would so maybe I can do a bit more than I have without feeling too sore.  I do hope so.

7,886 steps yesterday.

I guess my body is letting me know I am getting stronger and can do more. I. have been trying to pace myself but somehow things come up that get me moving.

Yesterday I was/almost was scammed through an AT&T scammer. Long story short, I called back to a call I shouldn't have and supposedly it was AT&T saying someone in NJ had ordered 2 iPads on my account. Supposedly I was eligible for 2 free iPads...then she said I would be billed $700 on my next billing. She. supposedly cancelled the order, gave me cancellation # and case # of their investigation. I thought it odd the 2 free iPads were going to cost me $700 but was so frazzled I didn't put it together until later.

Pacing, pacing all through this conversation... lots of steps!

Then I get an email from AT&T that my online password had been changed if not me to call a #. Called and was told AT&T doesn't do any of the things I was told, there was no record of any purchase on my account except my recent auto payment. She locked my online account...I never use the app anyway or even go online for anything re AT&T. Lots of pacing while she referred to her manager for final check all was OK again.

I will be contacting the hosting company to see if there is a problem from their end. Though today, things seem a bit better,

I may need to carry out some edits and do some more work on the site. For now I have got it working but a permanent solution is still awaited from the SMF devs.

6,169 steps yesterday.

A bit lower, but I am happy with the number and my ability to slow down some! Finally!

4685 steps yesterday which was a surprise since I was at the doctors appointment for about an hour and then driving which to and from was about 1/2 hour.  Wednesday was 5088 steps and that was quite a surprise also.  The good news is that I am feeling better and not getting sorer after doing a bit more so maybe it is helping.

8,084 steps yesterday.

I thought I was still taking it easy. Not purposefully walking for steps, just doing stuff. Kind of makes me wonder what I would get if I went back to the old way of go, go, going? I think or like to think I am past that and am better at listening to my body and being more cautious...

We had an interesting discussion on the TV forum I frequent about steps. Many walk and look seriously about how far the steps equal while others just go for the number of steps. I said I didn't even look at distance, I looked at steps as my goal was getting up and moving not how far I went. Interestingly enough, it seemed it was the men, or spouses (noted by wives) that focussed on distance while most of the women were out for the activity and movement.

Very small sample albeit, but interesting.

6129 steps yesterday.  That was not expected!  I am also just doing what seems normal as long as it is not causing me problems.  My problem yesterday and today is I am dealing with pretty bad lower back pain.  I don't know but it seems that it was aggravated by how I slept.  Once I got up it seems better and walking is actually better for it than sitting so up I went.  I think this is the highest I have reached since I started back and the good thing is that I am not feeling sore after.
I have maintained for years that distance is an arbitrary number.  Step count is the only thing that is the same no matter how tall you are.  I am sure I am sensitive to that because I am short but if I were to do 10,000 steps it would = 4 miles.  Someone with only a 6 inch linger stride with 10,000 steps would = 5 miles and we both did the same amount of work so what does distance have to do with it?
