6,616 steps yesterday.

Knee still an issue, yesterday I went back to the Aspercreme with Lidocaine applications. Seemed to help some. Just cycling through all the other things I've tried trying to get by until Thursday when I see pcp.

4235 steps yesterday.  I was kind of surprised after a day of not walking that much that I was pretty sore starting out but it seemed to improve as I went on.  I really didn't think I would even get to 4K but somehow did.

I started out OK yesterday then I had the Dentist appointment and that went well except that I forgot to take my pre-med before.  I got a call about an hour before my appointment and they were ahead of schedule and could I come in early.  I was ready so I left right then and forgot to take the med.  Because of the artificial heart valve I need to take Amoxicillin before any dental work to prevent infection so they had some there but it has to be an hour after taking it before they can start so I sat for an hour there then had the cleaning which went well but took about a half hour then home.  For some reason I was exhausted and just couldn't manage to walk much without having to sit down so I just gave up and I don't really know what my total for the day was but not a lot.  Probably TMI here so I will shut up now!

We do what we can and that is all we can do. You were smart to listen to your body. Today is another day and you can do what you can today, maybe even hit 4,000!

There is never too much sharing... We were just discussing end of life issues in caregiving on the other forum I frequent and I shared most of the gruesome time caring for my DH as he was dying. I apologized there for TMI and was told no, it helped others deal and that was my actual goal. Won't re-post it on the open forum but if there is any interest, I will on our other board.

7,743 steps yesterday.

Tried to take it easy, but with the bug spray people coming I had to move all the cat feeding and water dishes out of harm's way. Plus move their boxes that they sleep/play in. Up and down the steps several times and then of course once spray was dry, I had to do all that in reverse. Ended up doing a lot more than I thought and knee didn't like it. Dr on Fri (not Thurs as I thought before) hope I can get shot process started.

4228 steps yesterday.  Happy to kind of get back to a more normal routine but it was kind of hard at times and didn't really think i would get to 4K but did in the end.  Doctors appointment today so it may cut into my time a bit but so far doing OK.

Finally some small success at taking it easier. Knee still so sore, can't wait to get it resolved.

4319 steps yesterday.  I was quite surprised since I spent about 1 1/2 hours at the doctors appointment so I think I did pretty good.
I hope you can get relief for your knee Barbara.  I suffered for a long time before I got the injections and that was when I was doing 10,000+ steps every day and was able to get back to it.

5,791 steps yesterday. Did take it easy, but knee not much better for it.

Dr's office called and asked if I could come then instead of today. Sure! Raced around and got there in 30 min! This was Medicare Wellness Check, talked about knee but have another appt specifically for that.

Moving things around in the kitchen to clear counter, checking the faucet frequently to make sure not leaking. New plumbing company won't come for just the faucet. Grrr! Called my handyman and left message. He only works weekends so has a box for messages. Hope he can help. Not using that faucet once I got the drip to stop meant more steps to go from bathroom to kitchen with water.

This mobile home is 46 yrs old, I'm afraid it is starting to fall apart...

4230 steps yesterday.  It was kind of a struggle to get that far but finally did get to 4K so trying again today.
Bummer Barbara.  It is really a pain when you have a leak and can't get it fixed.  My BIL is a plumber so we don't have that problem but there are a few service plumbers in town so that would not be a problem.  He does new construction which there is enough here to keep him and an employee busy and only does some service work for people he knows.  I doubt your mobile home is falling apart but it probably does need some work from time to time but then all homes do.

Really tried to take it easy, did fairly well. I'm going to try again today to do the same. The more I walk, the more knee aches, the more knee hurts the more I compensate for that and the more my back hurts.
