Back is aching today, maybe the 22# and 30# bags of cat food are not such a good idea? Going to go slow and see how the day goes.

Back still a little sore. Did some stretching yesterday, not sure if that was a good idea or not. Hopefully will be back to normal quickly. Going to be another take it easy day.

5,433 steps yesterday.

Taking it easier did help my back settle down. My only goal was to at least get up and move each hour. As long as I can do that, I am satisfied at this point in time.

At least I do get up and move each hour although I don't manage to get the 250 steps in I at least do what I can.  I shoot for at least 12 hours of getting up and moving but it is usually 14-15.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Quick run out to thrift shop. Someone on TV forum suggested Thrift store often give away/sell bags of rags, donations too raggedy to sell. Took a bag of pretty nice things then asked and lady was snotty saying No we use them to clean the store...really? Oh well. Then someone else said to use straw as the cloth get damp and is cold. Will see if I can find any. Will call TNR people and see if they have any other suggestions. It is going to be very cold for a couple days.

Started my TM today with a gradual incline

29:09 min/2.0 km/168 cal, inc upto 7, speed 4.2, MaxHR 135

That 168 calories translates to a distance of 3.4 km on a plain surface and about 4930 steps.

5,525 steps yesterday.

Biggest activity was feeding the cats. And that is work! Since it never got above freezing, I had to go out frequently and replace their frozen water. I gave them warm water and they lapped it up as fast as I could thaw and replace it.

TNR people are coming tomorrow with some straw bales to figure out the shelter situation.  They have been so helpful!

Have a feeling today is going to be busy with making cat shelters of one kind or another. Tomorrow I go for 6 month liver MRI so that will be lots of sitting, guess the two days will balance each other out.

5,964 steps yesterday. More than I expected with all the driving and then the waiting and the MRI which took about 30 min. itself.

Not sure what today will bring. I may be getting the straw and working out side on the shelter. They are going to call me.

Got results from MRI yesterday. Everything looks good and instead of every 6 months he pushed it out to once a year check. Yay!

Most of them were in the evening unloading things for the kitties and putting out straw. Really tired when all was finally done. My. back is aching some this morning, going to try to take it easy today.

More than I expected, but I got busy tinkering with the straw in the boxes and setting up the cooler. They poked their heads in it and a few went in and came right out. I won't know if any slept in it until after feeding time when it is lighter.

Back is better today but light snow last night so will have to do a bit of shoveling today. I don't want the snow to get ahead of me this time around.
