Doing my TM routine regularly in the morning, with more and more variations and degree of difficulty added in. Also walked 1.6 km from work yesterday, though my Stepz said around 5000 steps during the day. That is for the time the phone was on me.

11,040 steps, 4.36 Miles, 70.2 Kilometers yesterday.  The distance is for my short legs.  Someone taller would be around 5 miles for that many steps. 
I'm not sure what the problem is but I was thinking more of a spine issue.  The pain starts in my lower back and shoots down the back of both of my legs.  Apparently lying down aggravates the problem and when I get up in the morning I can hardly walk but the fix seems to be to walk.  I have a back brace and it helps a lot for the first part of the day and after walking for a bit I am fine.  I did have this happen before and it was OK after a few days. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

11,058 steps yesterday.  Still hurts a lot when I first get out of bed but once I get going it seems to be fine.  Not too happy about the initial pain but I am really glad it goes away after a bit of walking.  It hasn't caused a problem with my walking during the day.

13,607 steps yesterday. Fell asleep in the recliner and missed 1.5 hour of walking time.

eta: Forgot that I shoveled snow for 35 minutes yesterday too. Guess that makes up for the missed steps.

Give it a week from the day it started +/- a day or two. It will go away.
Did all of my routine. Increased the running speed to 8.5km/hr. I will gradually be taking it to 11.

10,345 steps yesterday.  I'm not so confident that it will go away in a week but I am glad that I can overcome it by walking for a bit.  Still tough when I first get up but I am glad that I can deal with it.
