Well I didn't get back to "normal" yesterday, too sore so I just took another day off.  So far today it is going well so I should be getting back to my routine.

6,209 steps yesterday.

Still trying to be in resting mode, but it just doesn't seem to stick as the day goes by.

Today I'll have to run into town to pick up a UPS package at the drug store (a UPS drop location) as the driver wouldn't drive my road yesterday. Funny because later in the day the USPS driver had no problem driving my road to deliver a 22# bag of cat food (thank goodness!). And he was in his personal car!

Yes, my road is muddy, but this isn't even the worst it gets! If you just look ahead you can find a solid path. My neighbor across the road even moved his pasture fence in a car's width, so there is a grassy swath to drive on passing the worst of the mud. /rant

5,555 steps yesterday. Hmmm, maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket? Nah....

Going to be lightly snowing on and off all day, that will keep me moving trying to keep ahead of it.

Mostly pushing snow off the decks and paths. Fortunately it was pretty dry snow so not too heavy. Overnight snow was supposed to be wet, ugh, that means harder shoveling today. Just a little dusting for today and maybe tomorrow then no snow for a week. Yay!

My friend is coming over to help me clear the snow later today, then I am going for any rest I can get!

4860 steps yesterday. Yeah, shoveling the snow when it first fell and was not too bad but when it froze over night it got almost impossible.  We had a neighbor that loaned us their tractor and we could use that to clear the driveway to be able to get our cars in and out and that was a very big help.  Clearing the walkways to get back to the garage had to be done by hand and that could be a challenge.

Maybe a stupid question, but would a spray of hot water work ?

Not really, the water left would just freeze right up and the ice is worse than the snow! Plus with 4"+ of snow it would take a fireman's hose to clear an area and then I'd have an ice skating rink! Nice thought though, I wish it could be that easy! :)

Lots of work outside. Shoveling very wet snow is much harder work. Also had to fix some of the feeding stations that the snow collapsed. Really feeling it today. Some flurries the next couple of days but not much snow. Hopefully I can rest today.

4616 steps yesterday. Just plugging along and getting my steps in each hour.  My main goal is to get up each hour and walk to keep from sitting too long at a time and I think that helps.

7,044 steps yesterday.

Laundry and normal cat care.  I did go to store for more cat kibble as I felt Chewy would be late. This morning I checked Chewy tracking and no surprise, weather delays! The wet food says still Monday but the various kibbles not even an estimate. Winter sux! Glad I listened to my "inner voice" and got kibble.

Though I am not using the Treadmill consistently, I am achieving a minimum of 6000 steps each day doing my daily chores and/or using the public transport system.

7,189 steps yesterday.

About an inch of light powdery snow overnight. Mostly easy shoveling, did both decks and the path to garage. Added more straw to some shelters and checked coolers which were all still dry inside. The sun was out, though it was still below freezing, I was actually working in just a long sleeve shirt and sweat pants. Funny how one gets acclimated to the cold. I do much better in the cold than in the high heat, I never acclimate to the heat!!

Will try again today to rest more, but it seems almost pointless. Need to gather garbage today for pick up tomorrow, one more chore. I want to fill my bin as full as possible, the start of Spring cleaning.
