4014 steps yesterday.  I just made it over the 4000 step goal but did manage my 12 hour goal.

7,309 steps yesterday.

Worked hard in garage yesterday, until my back stopped me. Half of it is cleared and storage shed now is holding spot for all the boxes of things we are moving out. Lots of bending and lifting. It was good I had help because otherwise I would easily have fallen down the rabbit hole of looking at all the things in the boxes! Back and hands gave out after about 3 hours but we accomplished a lot.

Really stiff and achey today but will be forced to sit a lot as Dentist appointment today for 6 crowns will take 3 hours, then travel time 1 hour each way. Not sure if it will be "restful" but I won't be walking much today!

4252 steps yesterday.  I didn't think I was going to get to 4000 steps yesterday but picked it up later in the day.  Still got my hourly steps in.

A rather surprising 6,194 steps yesterday.

9AM I was running around like a crazy person getting things done and taking care of kitties and had 1,847 steps! We drove to dentist, were early, so Mall Walked a bit, some of the 1,847 was in that. I only had 120 steps 10AM. Then zero for 11 & 12. Minimal walking when I got home but did have 7 hours over 250. So I guess it all added up in the end. Don't know how today will go as my jaw is really sore today.

4534 steps yesterday.  Kind of a surprise as I put the walker aside and just carried my cane incase I needed it but walked OK without any support so happy about that.  I think I have been using the walker a lot more than needed and want to keep going without it.  Today I am just going to take it easy and don't expect to do a lot.

6,021 steps yesterday.

And that is what taking it easy is I guess... laundry and a little cleaning up outside. More sitting than usual though.

Today will be busy...back to work on garage.

True to my word I didn't do much at all yesterday but I am still getting around without using my walker and doing well.

My friend wasn't feeling well yesterday, (too much Happy Birthday on Sat.)  ~ cat ~  so no heavy work in garage. It was good that I took another day "off" though as I do feel better today.

4386 steps yesterday.  Getting back to work at trying to get my steps in.  I remember days when I got 10,000 steps every day at a minimum but those days are gone.

Yeah, me too!  And many, many days closer to 15,000-20,000 steps a day too. Long gone now... to quote Shanny, "Getting old isn't for sissies!"

Yeah, that is for sure.  OTOH I do have to be glad that I am walking and pretty much able to take care of anything I need to do, not as well as maybe I used to do but still able to take care of myself and that is a very good thing.  Like we have said, you do what you can and should be happy with that and while it is true that "getting old isn't for sissies" it does beat the alternative!
