4,484 steps yesterday.

I did get some raking done yesterday but it is kind of like as the saying goes "peeing in the sea", it didn't make that much difference. So many still to come down.

I don't really have anything on the agenda for today, but then something always manages to come up!

I'm sure that there is some mechanised way to do it, like a mini-tractor / mower that you could hire.

We have a leaf blower that does a pretty good job of moving the leaves into a pile then it is just putting them into trash bags. We don't have any setup to compost so they go to the dump.

I'm not sure I'm ready to spend $$ on a leaf blower right now, though the idea has many merits. II'll have to look at them and see if I think I can handle one.

4,120 steps yesterday.

Basically a lazy day. Mille wanted a lot of lap time and she got it!  ~ cat ~

I spent time going through a few of the crystals to pick ones I wanted to keep for myself. I didn't do that before the first time the crystal lady came and I probably gave away some I should have kept in that lot.

Spent a lot of time looking a videos to purge my printer ink. It is only really printing black any more and the other tanks are almost full so it is clogged somewhere. I'll do it today.

Also did a lot of reading on dental adhesives, having problems with the upper staying in. I found Sea Bond at the grocery on Thurs when I was in town and it is amazing! Works best of all I've tried and so easy! But I think the plate needs some adjustments so I'm reading up on Reddit about other's experiences and learning quite a bit from them. I'll be calling my dentist Monday.

I generally don't like Reddit, but a few subs I look at a bit are: cats, one TV show, now dentures. Not much controversy in those subs!

3,893 steps yesterday.

A lazy day, and frustrating day too. Trying to figure out how to run the purge to clean my printer heads turned into a bunch of YouTube videos, the end result being I guess I don't have the right cable to connect my laptop to the printer to run the program. I have a small basket full of all sorts of left over cables (and old phones!) but none match the plug in on the side of my printer. Nothing in printer box either. So that was a bunch of wasted/frustrating time.  I am beginning to be really sorry I went for the Eco Tank printer!

After all that I just let the cat curl up on my lap and I watched TV and read other things on the computer.  Same for today after everything else is done.

I am sorry you are having such a problem with the printer Barbara. Mine has worked just fine since I bought it so I don't know why you are having such of a problem. You should be able to run the cleaning program from the printers screen. If you go into maintenance and then you should find the cleaning option there. You should not need to connect your laptop to the printer. My printer is connected to the WiFi so I don't use a cable to connect the printer and it works well that way. I know that there are differences between your printer and mine but they should work mostly the same.

My printer (2400) doesn't have a screen, that is why I have to link up with the laptop. both are on my wofo, maybe if I just put them side by side it will work? I can run a nozzle clean with just the buttons on the printer, but the full purge needs to go through the maintenance steps in the system.

This is a picture of the side of my printer where the cable plugs in:

You cannot view this attachment.

I don't have anything that shape to plug in.IIt says USB next to the slot. I didn't get any cables with the printer other than the power cord. It's a puzzle. Maybe you know what it is then I can buy one in town maybe tomorrow?

Or maybe I'm just stupid and my lightening cord will plug in there? I don't want to mess up that cord trying though....

It is a bit dark and I can't see what type of USB port it is but it may be a USB C. No, your lightening cable will not work.  My M1 MacBook uses type C USB but I am not sure what yours does.
Maybe you could get a picture of the USB port on the printer with better lighting and also a picture of the USB port on your MacBook and I can give you the cable you need. I have dozens of cables here and I can mail you one.

I also wonder if you have the Epson app on your Mac? If not it is here:
Epson
If you do have it then this is the manual which you may also have but if not here it is.

I also wonder how you print from your Mac. If it is by your wireless you should also be able to access the control panel from that also without needing a cable but you may need to download the Epson app from the app store.

I'll take a better photo tomorrow when I get back from Podiatrist. I do have the app but it is on my phone and I don't see anything other than clean print heads on it. I need to do a power clean. The link you posted is the app I have and it is only ipad or iphone not laptop. Weird there is nothing for the puter.

It's late and I can't do any more searching right now, the brain is already going to sleep...

May end up with more today, plan a grocery stop and maybe Ace after dr appt. At least so far the weather is decent, hope it holds until I get back home if there is any snow to come.

Yeah that is weird. I have the Epson app on my Windows desktop but I also searched on my Macbook and there doesn't seem to be anything there. That is one of the things I like about my printer that I can do all of the maintenance from the touch screen on it. The main reason I got this model is that it has a document feeder and I can put several pages in it to make copies and it does it automatically. I probably do a lot more printing than you do and I do make copies some times and the other features were an added plus. That doesn't help you with your problem but if we can fine out what cable you need maybe you can get it solved.
