Thanks again skb. I did get a better photo that I emailed to Wally.

I did expect more, but I guess factoring in the travel time to and from the dr and the waiting room time, I'm not surprised. I did do a little grocery shopping but that is all. I saw the cutest little black bunny munching on grasses next to the train track by the grocery store. I wish I had taken a photo. I hope it is a feral and not someone's escaped pet.

Today my friend is coming over to heat wrap my under the house water pipe by the filter. Then I am going to do some organizing in the garage to make room for my car to pull in this Winter. That is going to be quite the tax because it is the big pile of boxes we moved from the kitty side of the garage. Fortunately since my friend took all her tools home I have several shelves and carts to move the boxes to now.

Well, today I decided that I have been 'inactive' for quite sometime and hopped on to my Treadmill and the home gym for sometime. Nothing worth recording or mentioning but I just wanted to move my joints a bit.

My friend wasn't up to coming over yesterday. I had already dragged out the insulation from the garage and the heat tape and extension cord. Decided to leave the insulation boards out by the filter as the weather looked good. Well, overnight the forecast changed to snow this morning. go figure. Hope it isn't much and stops quickly. She's coming today to get it finished.

Did some chores inside, changed bedding and even got out the down comforter. Not much else on agenda for today.

I have pretty much decided I am just going to get a new regular cartridge printer.  I can get a decent, for my purposes, on Amazon for $50-$75.  The Epson has been problems since the get go and I just don't see throwing more money at it for a new cable too.  I may just drive up to Best Buy tomorrow and get one there. At least then I can just take it back , no hassle, if there is a problem.

What I find interesting is my model isn"t offered on Amazon any more. Something like it doesn't meet their standards. They list: Quality/price, Reliable delivery, and seller offering good customer service. The Quality part is telling....

Sorry your printer didn't work out Barbara. I have had really good luck with mine so Epson must have really messed up on this model. When I bought mine it was more expensive but I wanted some of the features it had and decided to pay more for it to get them and it worked out well but they seem to have really cut out a lot to get the price down. I do print a lot and I have never had a problem with any clogging so maybe that is part of the reason.

Yeah, some days peanuts, some days shells....  It is a lower priced model than you got for sure. I don't print a lot, but I generally print a few pages a week. I would think that would be enough to keep the nozzles clear. It was only about 6 months of use before the first color stopped printing and I did the maximum number of nozzle cleanings at a time they recommended to no avail. Then with in a few months 2 more colors stopped printing even though I was regularly cleaning the nozzles. I just think this particular model/my printer was a lemon and my bad luck I got it. The printer cost me $180, in Sept last year, I would expect better of it.

But I'm not going to waste any more time on it. I remember saying when I first got it and had so much trouble getting it set up that I wanted to throw it out the window...now I wish I had and moved on right then!

5,790 steps yesterday.

Helped my friend with the heat tape and started organizing the "yard sale" boxes in the garage. I have emptied a metal storage shelf in my office from crystals, so moved it to the garage. Now I have even more places for the boxes so I can make room for my car.

I started stacking boxes on some of the other shelves already in the garage. It won't take too much more work to be able to get my little car in there again. I know opening and closing the big door is going to scare the heck out of the cats but they'll get used to it.

If my knees and back don't mind, I may continue clear the space in the garage. They weren't happy last night so I just have to see how things go this morning.

Helping my friend with the clean up after she finished the insulation project. Then lots of work in the garage. My back and knees are really aching from all the bending and lifting of the boxes. I might take today off and just do inside projects today. I'll see how the morning goes.

Working in the garage...almost done! And a big load of laundry kept me bust.  Plus I did some sorting in my office, good thing, I didn't know I'd have a visitor today!!

Hopefully at some point today, I can just sit and rest and put my feet up!

Not the day I had planned, and I didn't accomplish what II had planned, but oh well... I did clear off another bookcase I can move into the garage for storing boxes.  So all was not lost. Plus I made some money! (:

Today, the errands, and hopefully some work in the garage. And just maybe make up my mind on a printer!!

My errands amounted to most of my steps yesterday. Did a few chores and then had lots of cat in lap time while researching on computer.  The time change always messes with my energy for a couple of days while I adjust. I can't say how much I wish we'd just get rid of it!!

Yeah, the time change is always a pain. In California there was a vote that people approved making DST permanent but it still has to be enacted into law by the Legislature and they will never agree on it.

That is too bad. It almost gives one incentive to move to one of the states that is already DST year-round. However it has to be nationwide to really be effective unfortunately. Can you imagine working in one time zone and living in another?? Yikes!

Feels like I didn't do much, I had planned to work in garage, but it was just too cold to do that. So I spent the day sitting with cat in lap, and  also doing a lot of cleaning and rearranging in my office. Now that the crystals are slowly moving out, I can start to think about what I am going to do with the room. Still a long way to go but now two large bookcases are empty, one already moved to garage, I have space!!!

Yesterday was just about the same as the day before. Just puttering in the house. Again too cold for work in the garage.

Today looks to be warmer, so maybe some work in the garage after a few errands in town.
