Glad to hear that Wally!  I usually try to get my hourly steps too somedays it happens, some days not. Seems I often have a single hour or two that are close to or over 1000 steps and then one around it with zero. It is what it is...

6,153 steps yesterday.

The Chewy order arrived yesterday, fastest delivery yet! Tracking showed shipped 11-11 and delivered 11-12 from Reno, NV. Unpacked three large boxes with 22# and 30# bags of dry cat food and 3 cases of wet food. Some went into garage and some inside to be rotated into garage as needed.  The some more organizing in my office and even a bit of raking leaves outside too. It all added up.

4693 steps yesterday.  Yeah, I used to be able to get 1000-2000 steps at a time but now 250 is about all I can do at one time so the 250 each hour is the goal I have now. It gets me out of my chair and moving so I think it does me some good. I start at 6:oo AM and go for 12 hours from that.

I count the whole day. I am up by 6:30AM every day and am in bed by 11:15 PM. Almost like clockwork. I still try for the 250 each hour, just to be sure I get up often.

6,071 steps yesterday.

Yesterday was mostly working in the office going through everything and getting a sense of what is left.  Somethings I had forgotten precise details about so had to do some research. Rest if the day was little chores in the house.

Tomorrow is grocery shopping day and I plan to walk all the aisles just for the steps!

I got about 4500 steps using the Public Transport, and add to that around 1500-2000 for steps in the house.

7,278 steps yesterday.

Kind of surprised myself! Don't often hit my "goal" of 7,000 any more. I made it a point to get up out of the recliner more in the evening. Guess that is where the difference came from.

I'll take it!   ~ cat ~

Walking all the aisles did make a difference. Both in steps and my pocketbook! ;)

Nothing much to do today, will see if I can keep up the pace...as long as nothing starts to hurt I'm game to try.

8,139 steps yesterday.

Some was working in the office sorting crystals, but most was just making myself get up and walk as much as possible. Using the commercials on TV which is mostly background noise as a cue. So far not feeling anything stressed though right knee is beginning to sound off so will tread carefully. Don't want to push my luck!

9,917 steps yesterday! Shocked myself!

Walked in the house a lot. No long periods of sitting. Finished up in the office and did some tiding in the garage.

Nothing is aching so I'll see what I can do today, maybe it is time for a little carefull pushing it some.

10,673 steps yesterday! And so far no aches or pains as a result.

I was walking with purpose from 6:30AM until 9:30PM and then just took it easy until bedtime at 11PM. I tried to stick to the old plan of walking during commercials on the TV (if I noticed them) while I was doing things. I will stop in a hot minute if anything starts aching though.

11,094 steps yesterday. So far so good, nothing hurts.

I seem to have gotten past the aches and pains and lazy habits that were keeping me down. I had become too used to sitting and reading/researching things on the computer and not walking more. I just wonder how long I can keep this up? I am paying close attention to any clues from my body that it is too much. I never thought I'd see these numbers again...

Yeah, you are doing really well Barbara so I hope you are not going to have any problems and keep it up. I think it will be a while before I am able to get back on trying to hit my goals.
