Sweety

This week I walked thrice for one hour a day. I will continue with this. I find my readings very good on the next days.

8,347 steps yesterday. Running errands helped the count and I actually kept trying to move around after I fell to not stiffen up too much. Still sore today, but will try to move as much as possible.

I am glad to hear you feel well enough to resume your steps.  Hope you continue to improve.

I know we are not comparing ourselves to each other, but I have just recently started to do steps on a regular basis again.  I have arthritis in my back and my legs, so rheumatologist said that for me a 'slow, but steady' routine would be good to start out with.  I have averaged 1,000 or more steps for the last 10 days.

Great. Maybe that will also inspire me to get my butt off the chair and start all over again.

I also need inspiration. No walks since I last posted here.

Sweety and skb - my younger son who is in his 40s and not diabetic, started the keto diet a little over a year ago.  He has lost over 60 lbs and gone down several pants sizes.  He has walked over 10,000 steps, each day,  for over a year.  I don't aspire to be exactly like him, but its like he said "you have to start somewhere and making small goals is more attainable that big goals."  Maybe we can inspire each other?

Lately my goals remain on the lower side, pain is not something I strive to find, It comes on its own with no invitation and takes so long to go away again. The older I get the longer I take to heal...
