My leg is looking a lot better but I am still going to take it easy for another couple of days.

14,213 steps yesterday. I don't blame you one bit Wally getting healed properly is far more important than a few days not walking.

Thanks, yeah, I kind of overdid it the first day but now it is doing well.  I have taken it pretty easy since but now I am going to increase my walking a bit more each day. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

15,046 steps yesterday plus about 10 minutes shoveling snow. I couldn't do as much shoveling as I wanted as the arthritis in my left hand and trigger finger in my right hand are really flaring up. Looks like I am going to need shots again soon. I got several years out of the last round so I guess it is time.

Today I did my TM routine. Running up to 11 km/hr and incline up to 12, though I don't know how many degrees that is.
No meds since June 2011

5875 steps yesterday.  I just wanted to make the min.250 + steps each hour and did that and was happy to get over 5K for the day.  Healing is coming along but it will take some time.  Part of the routine is to soak the wound with a 10% solution of vinegar and water for 15-20 min. twice a day.  The doctor says this will help to reduce the time to heal and reduce scaring.  I am not worried about a scar but healing faster is a bonus.

13,913 steps yesterday. Fell asleep in the recliner a couple of times yesterday, no wonder since I barely slept the night before. Slept like a rock last night!

That's interesting Wally. I didn't know a vinegar solution would help heal faster and lessen scaring.

5228 steps yesterday.  Walking now doesn't seem to be causing me any problems so I think I will be able to get back to my 10K daily goal.  When you walk and your foot moves it pulls on the skin and it is so tight around the shin where the surgery was caused my problem the first day.  I can still feel a slight pull when I walk but it is not causing me any problem.
Yeah Barbara, the Dermatologist is adamant that this will be helpful, at least once a day but better twice a day.  I was first given these instructions to care for the biopsy which was a lot smaller.

I'll keep that in mind next time I need to heal up something. So is the solution 10% vinegar and 90% water? White vinegar?

Yes Barbara, that is it exactly.  The biopsies were small and healed in just  few days but this one is large and will tale a while, 4-6 weeks I am told.  It does sting a little bit but then it is acid so not a surprise.  I dip cotton balls in the vinegar solution and let it sit on the wound for about 20 min. and then put a fresh dressing on it.

10,429 steps yesterday.  I didn't sleep well last night.  Apparently the inflammation from the surgery has caused my Psoriasis to flare up and it is above the ankles of both legs.  This is making it difficult to apply a dressing on the wound so just one more little difficulty.  It isn't a major thing, just annoying.
