I am going to try to get back into at least trying to get the 250 steps each hour as the Fitbit records. That would amount to at least 3000 steps a day plus whatever I do over that so maybe I can get back to a 4000 daily goal. I don't know if I will be able to do it but I would like to try. So far this morning I have made the first two hours so maybe it will work.

Glad to hear I won't be alone here any more! Hey, my numbers are not that much over 4,000 any more. Just do what you can, and like me, be happy with whatever it turns out to be.

Well my first day trying to get at least 250 steps each hour, I use 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a 12 hour schedule. My total for the day was 4892 steps which surprised me but today I will see how well I do and it will probably be not as big as this but if I manage the 12/12 hours of 250+ I will be happy. The thing that got me off keeping track was that I could not manage to do this day after day so we will see how it goes. So far I am doing OK.

Yay Wally!

6,011 steps yesterday.

My errands helped. Some poor old guy hit the gas instead of the brakes outside the PO and caved in a wall by the PO boxes, he fortunately wasn't hurt. But now the boxes are inaccessible so we have to go into the PO proper and pick up our mail. the parking lot is blocked off so we have to park on the street and walk in the main doors. More steps to what was normally just a few...

Still having a lazy out of time feeling from the time change but it is getting better finally.

I used public transport yesterday and that used up a lot of steps. The total distance for the day was around 3 km and that should give me somewhere around 4350 steps. Add to that about 2000 within the house when I don't have the phone on me.

4,754 steps yesterday.

Most of the things I was doing, organizing crystals and research on the computer involved just sitting so didn't get as much walking time. I am getting more excited about having a whole new room to use as the crystals are going out the door!

6005 steps yesterday! That was a big surprise for me. I did 4 loads of laundry and that added a lot of steps that I had not counted on. This is not going to be normal but it does shoe that I can do it. the big question is how it will affect me today but so far it is going OK. My right calf muscle is sore but walking seems to help. My main goal is to get the 250 steps in each hour and then anything over that is a bonus. I get the 250 in at the top of each hour and then other steps are my just doing things.

Yay!! Hope you can continue to feel OK doing the counting.

5,250 steps yesterday.

As usual doing laundry helped the step count. Still doing thins inside as it is just too cold to be outside for any length of time trying to do anything.

Finally all the leaves are down from the cottonwoods. If the weather holds like predicted I might actually be able to rake in earnest. I'd love to get that chore done!

5173 steps yesterday. I really didn't expect to get over 4000 but somehow I got more. I was pretty sore, mostly my right calf muscle and it is still sore today so I am going to try to take it a bit easier but so far I have managed to get my hourly steps in.

4381 steps yesterday. I did take it a bit easier but got all 12 hours of at least 250 steps and made my 4K goal so glad for that. It seems that may have helped because my soreness had gotten much better but doing more seems to have helped. I am hoping to keep it up.

4,802 steps yesterday.

I did work some in the garage and did some chores inside too, but spent a lot of time going through crystals to get identification info for everything for today. The crystal lady showed me how on the google app I could take a photo of something and get an ID of it. Never knew that could be done. Man does it save me time searching through reference books!

Nothing much else planned for the day.

6,238 steps yesterday.

The crystal lady was in a look at everything all over mode so lots of steps moving flats, pulling out trays etc. I had been trying to go section by section.... Rest of the day just some chores inside and a bit of work in the garage.

Still feel kind of lazy, I guess it is the change of seasons/weather.

4789 steps yesterday. I am getting my steps in for 12/12 hours and then some more in just getting from here to there in the house but managing to get over my 4000 step goal. I am not as sore so it seems to be doing some good.
