Monitoring with Saliva

Saliva could be used instead of blood to monitor diabetes in a method proposed in research involving the University of Strathclyde.

I've been hearing about this for many years now. Also other methods which include sweat or from the liquid in the eyes. When these will be commercial reality is a question that needs to be answered.
