Hello all fellow type 2'ers.  I have a question regarding a symptom that started around the time of diagnosis.  My toes feel cold and slightly numb.  If I'm walking or standing I don't seem to notice it.  When I'm sitting I can't stop wiggling my darn toes around.  With my hands, they don't feel cold and they're not whitish like a circulation issue.  I see the word Neuropathy being discussed in other places.  Could it be that permanent nerve damage occurred when my levels were well above 400?
Thanks for anyone that reads this dumb post.

Hello Bama,

Welcome to the forum. Every forum that I have been on lives by the belief that "there is no dumb question, only dumb answers". So do we.

The short answer to your question is - Yes, it could be. The other more likely possibility is PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease) or lowered supply of blood to your extremities.

We'd like to know more about you and how you handle your diabetes. If there is no hesitation in sharing some details, we'd like to listen to your story.
