90 this fair morning.

79° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 85°/46°. This time of year is my favorite too Grammabear. Speaking of the weather, I do not do well in the heat but the cold doesn't really bother me too much. And it can get quite cold here in MT!

I am not a hot weather person either.  Much prefer putting on warm clothes and there are only so much clothes to be taken off and remain decent IMO.

LOL Grammabear, I have said that for years! You can put on more layers when it is cold but once you are naked in the heat, there is nothing else you can take off!! Kindred spirits indeed!

107 this sunny morning.

Yesterday DH found 'more' goodies in the garden in the form of yellow tomatoes the size of a tennis ball and 'more' fresh green beans.  The green beans are so tasty and blood glucose friendly.

Wally - I never considered the difference between your climate and ours and growing up with those differences.  I have always lived in a climate where there are four distinct seasons and Yes, sometimes our winter season can be really cold.  Cold has it's own set of problems as does the heat where you live.

94 this morning.  Well, speaking of the weather, we are supposed to have a high of 110° today.  Our Summers here are hot but it can get pretty cold in the Winter also.  We do get snow sometimes and temps can get to below zero but these are rare and don't last long.  Fall and Spring can be short and it is not unusual to go from Winter to Summer or Summer to Winter without a break  On the plus side it is really nice inside the house and I don't have to work outside in it anymore.

108 this hazy morning.

Yesterday's high was 79°, today's forecast is 90°/46° but I kind of doubt it will get that high.

Lucky you Grammabear! I bet those tomatoes and green beans were delicious!!

97 this morning.

Barbara - When the tomatoes and green beans come ripe in our garden, sometimes it is a case of "feast or famine" with them.  Right now it is 'feast' as we have trays of fresh tomatoes lining our kitchen counter.  It is almost more than two people can consume.  The beans I process and put in the freezer, but the tomatoes are the little yellow pear tomatoes which are almost too small to process.

Our weather has been really pleasant but - the forecast is for more of the "muggies" for next week.  We shall see.  For me, it is hard to moderate glucose numbers when the seasons switch from Fall to Winter to Spring to Summer as my glucose requirement is different in each season.

86 this morning.  We got to the predicted 110° yesterday but it is supposed to start cooling down a bit now.  Still above 100° but only by 1-2° and in the 90s next week.  Humidity is not a problem here, usually around 15%, so the evaporative cooler works quite well.

95 this morning. Another hazy day.

79° was the high yesterday, I knew it wasn't going to get to the predicted 90° which is also the predicted high for today. 90°/48°.

My "yard tigers" are the strangest kitties I have ever had. They are fierce hunters, watched one chase a grasshopper yesterday and ate it when caught. They climb up and down trees like monkeys one even climbed up the little gazebo that is in the trees now. They even climbed up into the fir tree which had to be prickly. I love to watch them skulking around in the tall grass and ambushing each other. Quite entertaining!

Barbara - Your 'yard tigers' are very good entertainment for you.  Who knows, maybe someday they will decide the lady who feeds them isn't to be avoided after all.  :))

Wally - I never realized the humidity is so low where you live.  Around here in the midwest, low humidity is maybe
40% but never any lower than that usually.  I wonder what the humidity is in Mumbai where skb lives?

83 this morning.  Yeah Grammabear,  this is the desert so normally the humidity is quite low.  Yesterday though it got cloudy and there were heavy clouds and lots of thunder and lightening over the mountains.  it looked like it could rain here but it never did.  Our humidity got to a high of 24% which is high for here, temp was 102°.
Barbara, sounds like the kitties are doing quite well.  Maybe they will get tamer after a while.

103 this morning. What I have been thinking was haze turns out to be more smoke than haze. Not sure where the fire is, but not close to me. Air quality unhealthy...

72° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 82°/54°. With this haze/smoke cover I doubt it will get that high.

Maybe in time the yard tigers will get more comfortable with me. I think the kittens got really spooked when I caught the one that got a home. It's cries in the carrier were pretty scary. Mama on the other hand walks into the house everytime I open the door. She was my neighbor's daughter's cat so she is pretty domesticated. She watches over the kittens like a hawk and keeps track of them wherever they are in the yard. They are entertaining to watch.

For today it is 91%, but the annual average is 75% so during the dry season it can go into the low 60s.

I was in India mid to late September to mid October 2000 (yeah a long time ago). We travelled all over and I don't remember it being extremely humid at that time and I am really susceptible to humidity. But who knows what it is like now?  Climates/things change over the years. I do have to say I really enjoyed my time there and if I ever felt safe to travel again I'd love to go back!

111 this morning.

I wonder how weather is in other places, mostly because I have never been too far from home.  It is interesting to me to learn about the climate, the vegetation, the animals etc.  I love the pictures that people have shared here too.

It is 66 deg F with a high of 91 deg F predicted. Maybe Summer is not "gone" after all.
