92 this morning. It looks like we will be in the mid 90s for the next few days.  Under 100° is good and still T-shirt and shorts weather.
Yeah, I guess it depends on your point of view.  If I am looking at tools for instance I spend a lot more time "shopping".  When I go for groceries I just want to get what I came for and leave.

Yesterday's high was 69°, today's forecast is 73°/48°.

Any more I just want to get out get my shopping done quickly and get back home. Anything I can buy online I do if it is cheaper or easier to get.

Yup, tools and gadgets would be my thing too. I also like to go through bookstores if there are any around. Books and music have certainly moved to the Online space.

Weather wise, it is still raining here, sometimes heavily, but this should start waning anytime now.

I used to love browsing through bookstores and music shops too.  However progress and online shopping seem to have eliminated that privilege.  When my children were small, we used to make it an "outing" by just going to the local library so they could choose books to check out and bring home for two weeks.

Now, in the Spring, our shopping has taken a different direction in the form of 'browsing' through the garden center to see what varieties of plants to put in the yard and garden.

106 this morning.  Sunny and just a bit cooler today but quite smoky as three fires are still going in the nearby mountains started by lightening on Sept. 6.  We should be in the low 90s for the next few days.
There used to be a book store here that would exchange your used books for used books in their stock.  I used to do a lot of shopping there but eventually they closed and electronic books seem to have replaced regular books.  I don't think it is a bad thing, I have a library on my iPad.  I can read anytime, anywhere.

72° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 64°/37° much cooler. It is breezy today too.

Yesterday was not a good day, upset stomach again, and I am drained today.

Grammabear, when my kids were little we would do the same thing, trips to the library and lots of books. They are both still big readers.

Book stores and libraries seem to have slid into oblivion, although we do still have a small library in our town.  I find it harder to read on my phone because the surface area is small. 

Wally - Is the iPad a bigger reading surface?  I might like that if it is. 

There used to be fabric stores and yarn shops that I don't see many around anymore either.

82 this morning.  Clear and sunny today with no smoke and a bit cooler so quite nice.
Grammabear, the tablet is much larger than the phone and there are different sizes of tablets.  I have the iPad Mini and it is big enough for me to read a book comfortably but there are also larger ones.  The Amazon Kindle app is free and there are tons of books available for it.  I don't know what you have available in your area but our local Walmart has them on display so you can see if you like the size and if it works for you. 
There are no craft or fabric stores around here either, just Walmart.  I think on line stores have tended to replace them.

62° was the high here yesterday, today's forecast is 79°/30°. It was 30° outside when I got up just after 8AM, it is up to 51° now at 10:22.

Hoping to be able to get to the grocery store today.

Wally - Is the iPad a bigger reading surface?  I might like that if it is. 

Grammabear, assuming that you are using the Chrome Browser, you can check out display screen sizes on your computer as follows;

1. Right Click on your screen
2. It will open up a Dev Tool known as Inspector.
3. See the attached image. The Left highlighted button can select the device of your choice, and the Right highlighted button can select Portrait or Landscape mode for that device.
4. To get back to Normal Screen, click the X on the far right top corner.

Hope that this will help you in making an assessment.

skb - Thank you for instructions, I will try this.

Does anyone here grow houseplants?  I have plants outside that I would like to bring inside and keep over Winter, but not sure how to do that.  I like having a little green color inside when everything outside is cold and white.  Maybe I am just dreaming.

84 this morning.  It looks like we will be in the mid 90s for the rest of the month so not too Fall like but I can wait for colder weather. 
I don't have the patience to grow houseplants indoors.  I do enjoy the outside plants but don't put a lot of effort in growing them.  Luck for me the plants we do have are pretty hardy and do well without a lot of help.

71° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 75°/46°. There is a chance of rain today. tonight and tomorrow with the highest % for Sunday. There is also a chance of high winds at times today which does not thrill me at all!

The extent of houseplants in my house is cilantro, basil or some other herb in a jar of water in the kitchen window.

You are right. The right click will open a drop down Menu and the Inspect option opens something called the Inspector. The Inspector is a developer tool designed to show the elements of the webpage alongside the code, which is shown in the right panel. To adapt the display to different screen sizes, you need to click a toggle button (2nd from left on top) which will show the left side display in different screen sizes.

I guess the reason I do have houseplants is I like to watch green things grow.  I miss 'green' things when it is Winter and too cold for growing them outside.  If I could figure out how to grow herbs successfully, I would have them inside.

On this day in 1970 I married my best friend.  Hard to believe it has been 51 years.
