86 this morning.  We got to 82° yesterday and starting out at 44° this morning it is supposed to get to 82° again today.  Next week it will be cooler but still in the mid 70s so still nice outside.
Quite impressive SKB.  I am fully aware of telephoto lenses but that may still be closer than comfortable to me.  We don't have any tigers in the wild here but I have had close encounters with mountain lions and bears a couple of times.  Luckily we were both heading in a different direction.  So often when something like that happens you never have a camera handy but nowadays with such good cameras on cell phones there is more of a chance to get a snapshot.

121 this drizzly morning.

52° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 50°/36° with occasional showers.

I was going to go out today for a PO run and to get more cat food, but I am going to wait until tomorrow, hopefully the store will be less crowded.

Yes exactly my point about technology. This was shot with an iPhone in 2009. Maybe I had the 4S at that time. (I had to reduce size to upload here)

122 this morning.

Even though the pictures you post are taken from a distance, it still "feels" too close for comfort.  Colors are awesome.

True they are taken from a distance, but not the sleeping tiger. That was too close by any standards. Once we sat pretty close to a tigress and her cub for over 90 minutes, in pitch darkness with car windows open. I wouldn't do that now. Of course, there are too many restrictions in the forests now and therefore I don't like to go. I go to peripheral areas.

91 this morning.  We got to 82° yesterday but now it is going to cool down just a bit and next week we will be in the mid 70s so still pretty nice.
I did remember to set all of the clocks back this morning ! ;D

120 this cold clear morning.

48° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 43°/27° with very small chance of rain.

I hate the time changes!! I feel disoriented for days...

Have to go out for cat food and to pick up bills at the PO. Will be a quick trip I hope.

Went out for dinner last night after all the lockdowns. We went to a Chinese restaurant and had a good time. But, Chinese food usually means rice and I had to finish a lot of it.  :-[

And then I also had a cup of sugar free ice-cream.

111 this sunny morning.

Do any of you get sad when your blood glucose goes way out of range, or maybe your numbers never do?

97 this morning.  It will be a bit cooler this week but still in the 70s and today it is bright and clear without wind so pretty nice.
Yeah SKB, Chinese food can be difficult and I usually avoid rice but I can take a very small portion.  I do eat Chinese on occasion but I am pretty picky.
Grammabear, my bg doesn't go way out of range, I keep a pretty close track of it and what I eat but if it is higher than I like I look at what I did to cause it and try to avoid that again.  Once again being a type 2 I don't have the same problems to deal with and it is easier to keep in a range.

119 this mostly clear, cold morning.

45° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 45°/19° getting really cold at night these days! It is always a good morning when I wake up and have running
water!!

Guess I just haven't gotten into the fitbit craze. My phone app works fine for me as far as counting steps.

Grammabear, like Wally I don't go way out of range. Yes, sometimes I am higher than I like but usually it is a result of a dietary lapse I have mede. I have to figure out what it was and not repeat it.

Not sad, neither alarmed, because I know I am where I am because of what I did or didn't do. Checking BG, especially when you are higher works to keep you in check and bring you back to your senses.

95 this morning.

I can have the same identical meal, in this case it was breakfast, for two days in a row and still end up spiking to almost 200 on one day or maybe 135 the other day.  It makes no sense to me and when that happens, it is upsetting.

Our weather has been in the mid 60s for the past three days and gorgeous for doing outside chores.  I just know the 'white stuff' is coming but for now, I will appreciate the warmth and the sunshine.

90 this morning.  Today is supposed to be the coolest this week at 72° for a high.  Clear and sunny today but they did get 7 inches of snow in the mountains so that is good.
Grammabear, as a type 1 you have different challenges than a type 2 but we all experience changes and sometimes we have readings higher than we expect but I think that is just how the body reacts at that time.  I have smaller swings and my highs may not be a out of range as you but if you hit 200 at lest you are not at 300 or higher.  You are making an effort to maintain as good as you can and that is something the majority of diabetics don't do.

133 this cloudy morning. Don't know where that came from...no appetite last night so drank 1/2 bottle of Boost, that may be the reason. What ever, it is what it is.

41° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 43°/23° with a good chance of rain.
