92 this morning.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.  It's home alone for me this year so I bought a really nice steak, ignoring the price, and I am going to grill it for my dinner. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

When you grill a steak, how do you season it?  Or do you have a favorite seasoning?  I avoid steaks because I'm not very good at cooking them.

I don't really season a steak other than a bit of salt and pepper, I like the flavor of the steak and I think that seasoning covers that up.  I do have a variety of rubs that I use for other meats like a pork loin or ribs and the like.  Grilling a steak is really quite easy, I just pop it on the grill and cook until I get it to the right temp. and use a meat thermometer.  I have an instant read thermometer that I use.

That's the way we liked our steaks too. But I haven't had a steak in a long long time, since the beef ban here.

I thought I posted this morning but it doesn't appear so I must have not hit the post button.  99 this morning.
Our overnight low was 31° which is the first time we got below freezing since last Winter but it is heading to the mid 70s for the weekend.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

89 this morning.  A bit warmer with the low at 35° this morning and heading to about 73° today and then in the high 70s next week.

51° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 52°/34°. It is 33° right now. Had some rain overnight and may again tonight.

Have to run out to mail my property tax bill and to get more cat food since my Amazon order didn't come yet...frustrating.

111 this cold morning at 26 deg F.

We have a resident squirrel that buries pieces of field corn in the yard.  We were walking in the yard yesterday and must have found a half dozen or more broken pieces of corn that were not there the day before.  The corn got picked up and deposited elsewhere, as when the lawn mower hits them in the Spring, the corn cob makes an awful noise and a mess all over.
