39° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 37°/25° with snow flurries and possible rain.

I had planned to run errands today, but knee is bothering me and I don't feel like trying to navigate the snow too.

I am aware of the tornados Grammabear, but my order was a Prime item placed 11/19, and has shown a delivery date of 12/23 for at least 10 days, maybe more. Frustrating...

Barbara, would it work if you used the Amazon app on your phone and asked them to cancel the order and then 're-ordered' the cat food?  I'm sorry this is happening to you and your yard tigers.  Is there any grocery store near to you that would deliver cat food for you?

The small local grocery has the cat food and I have to go out tomorrow or Wed depending on how my knee feels, so will buy more there to tide me over. I really need to get to the PO too to pick up some bills that need paying. It is hard as I don't know how I will feel from day to day. I think tomorrow will start with Advil and tea so maybe I can get out and get home quickly.

We are supposed to reach a high of 50 deg today, which is really out of range for this time of year.  I hope we don't get more storms like we did last Friday.

81 this morning.  The predicted storm has arrived and some areas in Southern California are seeing significant rain and quite a bit of snow in the mountains.  Here it is just a drizzle so far but there may be heavier rain in a bit.  I would like to see more rain here but the snow in the mountains is a real benefit.  It could be over 7 feet and that would really help.
Barbara, I hope your knee gets better soon.  I am still having the pain in my side and I have made an appointment with my doctor but it won't be until next week unless there is an opening sooner. It is not as bad as it was but still there and constant so I would really like to find out the cause. 
Canceling the Amazon order and re-ordering it will not probably help if the item is out of stock.  Even though it is a Prime order it can be from a third party seller and if they are out of stock it can't be shipped until it is back in stock.  You may be able to find another seller that has it in stock then order from them.  When I find something on Amazon I always check to see if it is sold by Amazon or from a third party.  Then I check to see if it shows if it is in stock before ordering.  I have been disappointed before when not doing this.

Thanks Wally, I have good days and bad ones, it does seem to be getting a bit better each day. Which is definitely a good thing.

Stomach is upset today so I am sipping ginger tea...

90 this morning.  Well, we actually did get some measurable rain yesterday, just over 1/4 inch here which is not a lot for many areas but pretty good for here.  On the other side of the mountains near the coast there was a heavy downpour with flooding and mud slides as usual in the areas where there were fires.  About 4 feet of snow in the Sierras at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and more further North.  It is all out of here now and sunny and cold at 31°.

36° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 30°/14°. Right now it is 18°, I'm going to wait until it warms up some before I go out to run my errands. Plus phone died overnight and I have to wait for it to charge fully.

We had high winds last night in excess of 60 mph and I think this weather is most unusual for December.

Yesterday's high was 30°, today's forecast is 32°/14°. Right now at 11:15AM it is 22°.

Did my errands yesterday and it really wrecked my knee again. I only got 1/2 way through the grocery store before I just had to give up. I had to get cat food, but the whole time I was thinking "this was a bad idea". Today is a take it easy day.
