137 today morning.

Things are what they are and there is no choice but to face them and move on. I'm working very hard but I don't see the results that I used to early on in life. There is always hope that things will change for the better.

Wally, hope you heal quickly.

128 this morning.

Yesterday turned out to be one of those lost days I have occasionally when I haven't any energy at all and can only sleep. Gosh, even my Fitbit shows I slept 11 hours total.

Thankfully, those days seem to be only one day long and this morning I feel substantially better which is a great relief.

My weather app says we're getting more snow today. Aarrgh!

We got more snow yesterday evening but not nearly the amount predicted.  So today we can keep our hearing aid appointments and maybe we shall stop at the grocery store too.

Can anyone explain why different joints in our body hurt when the weather is going to change - as in an approaching snow storm?

Tamagno - Maybe you just needed some extra sleep and yesterday was your day for extra.  I hope your snowfall amount tends to be small.

80 this morning.  I feel for those of you having cold and snow.  We are seeing unusually warm weather here for February.  It is supposed to be 71° today and 74° tomorrow.  I am noticing the days getting longer and the sun rising earlier and in 3 weeks we will start Daylight Savings time so Spring is on the way.
My toe isn't that bad but I am surprised it is still sore and that is why I think I may have a fracture but the black and blue are gone and it looks OK so I am sure it will be OK.

43° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 46°/30° with a pretty good chance of rain showers...great now it is going to be mud again. Just hoping the mail lady will bring my box to me today.

Darn, just checked tracking and she didn't even try to deliver. Said driveway inaccessible which is not true!! I wish I could select UPS as the delivery carrier of choice.....

That is something new to me. I will try and look up for sources that have something to say on this.

BigSkyGal, we've had that problem with UPS occasionally. I have a motion sensing camera on my porch, but if they won't even attempt my road it's no help.

We should be having a high of nearly 40 today, so I'm hoping for some snow melting. Areas in shade take the longest and care must be taken driving as those places are also prone to "black ice."

It is 36 deg here this morning with a high of almost 40.  This will help melt some of the snow and given the fact that the sun is shinning, everyone will feel better I think.

88 this morning.  We are having warm weather here today and tomorrow in the mid 70s then back to the 60s but still quite nice.  Unfortunately there is no rain in sight.
When I lived up on the mountain the mail was delivered by a private contractor for the Postal Service and they had 4 wheel drive vehicles which the Postal Service doesn't have.  This was great in the snow and the rain as they had a lot of homes on dirt roads.  We never had a problem getting delivery.

48° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 40°/22°. It is already 40° so it will be warmer. There is a chance of snow flurries.

Postal delivery has been an issue for a while here. Either they are leaving packages on top of our mailboxes or just plain not delivering and saying driveway inaccessible. Amazing how the 4 of us that live on this road manage to go in and out without any problems. My neighbor even runs a welding business out of his home and has customers coming and going all day. Just annoys me to no end... UPS never has a problem delivering.

Got my CAT scan results yesterday with what has become the usual litany of problems but nothing I consider of immediate concern. Insofar as I have lived with these things for a few years, they're nothing I'm worried or fearful about.

If any of you are sci-fi fans, I ran across an older movie called "Marooned" that's worth watching for its unusually in-depth portrayal of interpersonal relationships among flight and ground crews plus luxury casting that includes Gregory Peck and Gene Hackman as well as several others.

Tamagno - I am very glad to hear you don't have any new problems of grave concern.  Thank you for the movie recommendation.  I always enjoy watching movies that have a decent plot and one that is understandable.

Yesterday I took my new iphone to the carrier which is Boost Mobile and asked if they could 'activate' it?  Turns out the young lady was not too busy, so she spent time activating it plus transferring main apps from old phone to new phone.  When I asked how much I owed her, she said "Nothing, you're good to go."  Its been a long time since someone had time to help someone else and it was heart warming to meet such a young person.

An odd thing occurred to me while waiting for the phone to be completely activated.  It seems that Apple feels they are doing something important for their new phone orders by including ear buds which are wired.  There is no phone jack on the phone itself which renders the phone ear buds absolutely useless.  Does anyone know if bluetooth ear buds are trust worthy?

91 this morning.  Really warmed up with a high of 75° yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today.  Tomorrow a 10°  drop but  thankfully no wind.  I would really like to see some rain but none in sight.
Tamagno, glad that nothing new has shown up,  I remember "Marooned" and thought it was pretty good.  I do like SF and have watched a lot of SF movies.
Grammabear, My iPhone SE came with wired ear phones also but they have a lightening connector and plug in to the lightening port with no problem.  You may want to take a closer look at yours.  Bluetooth earbuds work just fine and I bought a set on Amazon, not the Apple brand, I wouldn't pay what they want for theirs, but the cheaper ones seem to work just fine and there is no wire to mess with.
