84 this morning.  The winds finally calmed down late last night and we actually got a small sprinkle of rain this morning, not much but it is wet.
I get my second shot on Tuesday and I guess some people do have more of a reaction to the second shot but it beats being in the hospital with covid.  It is difficult for people that have no choice but to go to work so I hope the vaccine helps a lot.
Yeah Tamagno, the quest for "more power" for computers and all other electronics is mostly a benefit for gamers and people that do things like video editing that need the higher end devices.  Nowadays most computers, phones and tablets can do most things you would want but I have always been a fan of "bigger, better" even though I don't really need it.

It'll be good to know of your experience with the 2nd shot. I took my first on the 15th. The time for the 2nd shot has been extended from 4 weeks to between 6 - 8 weeks for the Astra-Zeneca. So it will be sometime in early May that I go again.

108 this morning.

Got my second shot yesterday and side effects for the most part have included soreness at injection site, general malaise and weakness, etc. Lots of pain in my joints and muscles overnight as well, but that's not unusual so it may not have been the vaccine.

It was nice enough here yesterday that we got out the grill and made hamburgers - best way to cook!

I'm late posting today as I was experiencing an unusual outage of Wi-Fi. I couldn't get anywhere on the net, but when I asked Alexa to check connections she said everything was fine plus my VoIP phone was still working. Hmmm - decided to just try restarting the modem anyway and now it's all back. Odd...

Hopefully today we will find out what it takes to repair our computer.  The WiFi signal here has been off and on for the past several days.  The weather here has been stormy but looks better today.  Would like to see the sunshine soon.

Hamburgers on the grill sound delicious.  :)

88 this morning.  It is going to get warmer here with a high of 76° today and 83° tomorrow.  We grill outside year around here but the warmer weather makes it more fun.  Burgers on the grill sounds like a good idea for tonight.
It seems like I have to restart my modem once in a while for some reason but it is interesting that often when you are having a problem with electronics restarting seems to fix the problem.
Grammabear, replacing the fan on the CPU cooler is pretty simple so I hope that is all that is wrong.

124 this partly cloudy morning.

50° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 55°/36.

Feeling really rough this morning. Not much appetite again today. Feel a little sweaty so took my temp it was 99.7° so up a bit. Yesterday it was 98.3°. Will have to keep a watch on that...

Hope your computer is an easy fix Grammabear.

The fella that came to look at our computer said the heat sink fan 'seized' up, he sprayed a spurt or two of Wd40 and said he would order a new fan for us.  He will return when the fan comes in and replace the current fan.  We don't play a lot of games nor use the computer for hours on end.  Repair fella said everything else looks good.

Strange but very true. I guess when you turn off and then on again some of the settings do get reconfigured. It happens to me a lot.

158 this morning.

Glad you're on the way to getting that fanfixed, Grammabear.

I actually do hard restarts on my iPad every morning as well as clear it's caches. I don't mind restarting my modem occasionally, but avoid restarting my router as that can result in all manner of weirdness that can be a real headache. I have a Netgear Orbi mesh router that is decidedly fast with great coverage (including outdoors) but heaven help you if something goes awry.

My wife grilled chicken last night which was really good. I'm glad to be getting away from winter casseroles!

The second Plague shot definitely left me weak and exhausted yesterday and I slept much of the day. I don't know the stats for numbers of people having gotten the vaccine, however, reported cases are again on the rise in our area. Smarter people than I will have to sort out what that means but it doesn't seem encouraging just now.

It seems that many people have similar reactions to the Plague vaccine the second time around.  My sister had the same reaction, the lady at the hair salon where we get haircuts also had the same reaction as did her husband.  There is also a slight increase in cases in our area as well.  People in the 'official' health departments say it is the variants acting up.

I agree Tamagno - it is a refreshing change to have different food items on the menu.  I will be glad when it is warm enough here to grill out occasionally.

102 this morning.  We got up to 75° yesterday and it is supposed to reach 83° today.  It was nice to grill burgers outside when it was warm nd still light.  Summer is right around the corner here.
Around here cases are actually going down which is encouraging.  People are still doing a good job of following protocols and wearing masks etc.
Grammabear, glad you got someone to check your computer out.

108 this windy morning. I hate the wind!!

60° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 64°/39°.

Feeling better today, not 100%, but better. Had a good night's sleep last night and appetite seems to be improving. Temp this morning back to a normal at 97.6°.

Ultrasound is still scheduled for Wed, but I'm going to watch temperature and see how I feel.

75 this morning.

Very windy here the last few days with heavy rain yesterday. Losing power is a concern when we have that, but so far so good.

I was surprised to find I was still weak and exhausted yesterday from the second vaccine. Surely today should be better.

I'm disappointed to discover that Amazon's Whole Foods won't deliver to my area. Admittedly it's pretty far from the nearest store but I was hopeful. I haven't tried every grocery and restaurant around here, but it seems we're well outside delivery areas for most everything food related. Well, perhaps it won't be long before I can get out myself - a novel idea.

95 this morning.  Warm here with a high of 83° yesterday and it looks like we will be in the high 70s to low 80s for the week.
I am not surprised you are still feeling exhausted Tamagno.  I get my second tomorrow and I expect to be feeling it for at least 2-3 days.  If that's the worst of it I can deal with it.
I have never considered food delivery here but I do use the free deliver to your car at Walmart and it is quite handy.
