108 this morning.

I really overslept this morning by a long shot.  I could hardly believe the clock when I woke today.

We have food delivery from Aldis, which is a grocery store in our area.  I think many of the stores here are involved in using a delivery service by the name of InstaCart as it gives store the option of offering it to people who want that service.  We have used it all Winter and maybe for a while until we have had our second Covid vaccine.  I miss seeing other people in the store even if I don't speak with them.

Tamagno - I hope you slowly improve in how you feel and maybe will be able to do a little shopping in your store.

117 this cloudy morning. Woke to a light dusting of snow, mostly melted now.

64° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 39°/23° with possible snow flurries. The wind has mostly calmed down but still gusts a bit.

Still feeling off, I guess that is reflected in my recent bg #'s. No fever, but just feel off...

Our government suddenly decided that the Covishield (Astra-Zeneca) 2nd shot is best given between 6-8 weeks. They cited some study and said that it improves efficacy. By the way the figure mentioned was 79% which is lower than Covaxin the other one available. Since I have taken the 1st one of Covishield I suppose I have to continue with the same one. Anyone heard otherwise ?

SKB, it's my understanding that the second shot has to be the same as the first; that said, it doesn't mean governments might not decide otherwise.

BigSkyGal, I sympathize with the problem of feeling off. It seems that in the last couple of years I have more off days than normal days which is starting to get depressing. I can't figure what, if anything, I can do about it. I make a concerted effort to get exercise even if it consists only of walking around the house and going up and down stairs, but so far it hasn't really helped. I certainly don't expect to feel like I'm 18 again, but sure wish I could find a way simply to feel better more often.

Feeling "off" is a depressing feeling.  Sometimes when I feel that way, it is because the winter weather itself is depressing.  Add to that the fact that many of us have had our social activities severely restricted.  My husband and I are not social butterflies, but we do enjoy once in a while the opportunity to go out to eat or simply to go to the Home Improvement store to browse.  It seems like those days are somewhere in another world.

96 this morning.  The weather here is warm and warmer and it looks like we will be in the mid 70s to the mid 80s for the next few days.  I hope others get to see more Spring like weather and I am enjoying what we have here.  It feels good to go outside in shorts and a T-shirt.
Part of getting older seems to come with feeling "off" from time to time and I have some days like that also but try to do as much as I can.  I get plenty of sleep and try to get as much exercise as I can but I can't do nearly as much as I used to.
Hope you all are feeling better.

106 this partly cloudy morning.

Missed the exact high yesterday, somewhere around 44°, today's forecast is 43°/25°.

Pretty much have decided to once again reschedule ultrasound. I feel a bit better, but don't think going up to town to the hospital is a trip I am up to taking right now. I sure hope I get over this soon!

147 today. Don't know where that came from. On Sunday i had a bottle of beer because the Mrs was in the mood for one. It must be that showing up now.

Yeah, I suppose that I have to continue with the same vaccine. The extension of the gap between the shots mean that I will get my second one sometime in early May.

Tamagno

81 this morning.

A cloudy looking day here and I was reluctant to get out of bed. Like you, Grammabear, I miss going out to the grocery and so forth and often feel as though those days are gone for good. That's more pessimistic than I like, but there it is.

Yesterday I took the daring step of rearranging the widgets on my iPad and tweaking various settings to enhance battery life. Such excitement!

Tamagno - You are really brave to rearrange widgets on your ipad.  When I got a new phone recently, I had to learn where everything was all over again.  They all downloaded from the 'cloud' but not in the same order as I had them.  Hope you enjoy the ipad even more.

I also did not want to get out of the nice warm bed this morning.  On occasion I have gone back to bed and it always seems like that time getting extra sleep is wonderful.  Must be part of getting older maybe?

83 this morning.  It is still warming up and we may hit 90° over the weekend.  Next week it will be cooler and windy but still in the low 70s.
I got my second covid shot yesterday and so far I'm not feeling much of a reaction, arm is a bit sore where it was injected but not bad.  I recall after the first shot I felt it the most the second and third day so I'll just wait and see.
I like to organize items on my phone and iPad and put them where I want them instead of where Apple wants them.  I put like apps in a folder and that helps reduce clutter.

Wally, Please excuse my ignorance but how does one make a 'folder' on the phone?  If I put in a "google" search how to do this, will that suffice?

110 this blue sky morning.

43° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 55°/27°.

Glad I didn't try to go to town for the ultrasound today, still feeling rough around the edges.

Grammabear, I used to know how to make folders, but have forgotten. I'll look forward to Wally's response too.

Barbara - I am not a healthcare professional, but do you suppose you might be a bit low on electrolytes?  Maybe a cup of lightly salted chicken broth would help you feel better?  I can remember Shanny used to tell me that after I would have a hypoglycemic episode.
