112 this morning.

So glad you're feeling better, BigSkyGal!

Guidelines for post-vaccine behaviors are still recommending wearing masks in public along with distancing and limiting socializing to very small groups only with others who have had the vaccine. While I rarely eat at restaurants anyway, I still wouldn't do it. Ditto with take out foods.

Still quite cold here this morning but a bit warmer this afternoon. The sky, however, is clear so things will feel warmer once the sun has fully risen.

We are going today to get our second vaccination and hoping the after effects are going to be mild.  The wind today is really whipping up around this area.  The weather people issued a "no burn" warning because the grasses and trees are so very dry to the point of drought.

99 this morning.  The weather guys are pretty spot on for a change and we hit the predicted 90° yesterday.  Today is supposed to be 92° and our overnight low was 55°.  It looks like it will be staying in the high 80s for a while.
I'm feeling pretty good after the second shot.  A couple of days feeling a bit sore and lethargic but not really any different than the first shot.
Grammabear, hope you and your husband do as well.
SKB, sorry that the cases are ramping up in your area.  I think people have a tendency to get tired of the restrictions and get too lax and the virus takes advantage of that.  It has happened in several states here but over all it seems better and cases have dropped in a lot of areas.
Barbara, glad you are feeling better.  It is always a bummer to feel lousy but even worse now that the fear of covid makes it more of a worry.

95 this mostly clear morning.

68° was the high again yesterday, today's forecast is 70°/39°. I am seeing the first buds on the lilacs, hope we don't have another freeze...

While the shopping wore me out yesterday, I do feel much better and my appetite is definitely back to normal. Thanks for all the good wishes!

Sweety, stay safe and well. That is too close to home not to be frightening.

113 this morning.

Our weather today has once again posted a "low humidity" warning which I think is intended to warn of fire potential. This last week is the first time I've seen such advisories.

Wishing all who celebrate it a Happy Easter!

Tamagno - Our weather has also posted the humidity warning and they come right out and say "do not burn today" because of low humidity and high winds.  Our winds have been anywhere from 15 - 25 mph all day long.  The temperature today is predicted to be 75 deg F.

Hubby and I got our second shot yesterday.  Today we both have sore arms and are lethargic, but not too bad overall.

102 this morning.  It looks like we will be in the low 90s to the mid 80s for the next few days.  Tamagno and Grammabear, I wonder what is considered low humidity in your areas ?  Here normal humidity is around 15-25%  and that is for most of the year.  Not too much of a problem with fire danger down here in the desert but the local mountains it can be extreme.

69° was yesterday's high, today's forecast is 66°/39°.

As I am typing this my next door neighbor is burning yard waste in his backyard. No fire danger here yet.

A partial lockdown is imposed here. We were planning a Sales event for Tuesday (tomorrow). Just for academic interest, I'm attaching the govt order here.

Wally, I'm not sure what the criteria is for issuing these low humidity warnings. I personally consider anything below 15-20% to be low. Here we can't burn yard debris or anything without a town permit. However, insofar as you need a permit or license to do most anything here those are mostly ignored and people use common sense.

Like clockwork my G6 sensor that should last ten days has failed at seven. I've been trying to wear it on my abdomen as suggested but think I'll go back to my tricep this time.

Yesterday when there was a "fire danger" warning issued, the humidity was just 20%.  Today the humidity is 43% and it rained a bit during the night.  In our county we can burn yard waste but only if we live outside the city limits.

Tamagno - I also have the best luck with G6 sensor on my tricep, although I have also tried the upper thigh with halfway decent luck.

75 this morning.  It looks like we will be in the mid 80s for at least the next 10 days.  Pretty comfortable and nice before we hit the hotter weather which will be coming soon enough.
Yeah Tamagno I think 15-20% is low anywhere.  It is normal here but then we are in the desert.  It does make the higher heat easier to deal with ad we don't have to worry too much about fires here but further up in the mountains it can be a real problem.

119 this drizzly morning.

68° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is much lower at 48°/30° with periods of rain. I just hope the mail lady doesn't decide not to deliver my Amazon order. The road is not even muddy ...yet.

101 this morning.

Still dry here which really exacerbates dry, itchy skin. I think sometimes I leave a trail of the stuff all over.

Grammabear, I prefer putting the sensor on my tricep, but had decided to try my abdomen to see if that was any better. Didn't work, so I've gone back to tricep. Even now, though, I can feel the cannula against muscle so I don't know how well it will work. My last two sensors failed early so I'll be calling Dexcom today to see if they'll replace them. By the way, I've been using those tape overlays successfully. It appears they're free from Dexcom for the asking.I like them better than using surgical tape but placing them can be tricky with the sensor on your tricep.
