Tamagno - I also like those overlays that Dexcom provides.  I did not know about that until I had to call Dexcom about another matter and the technician happened to "mention" the overlays.  And Yes indeed, they can be a challenge to apply especially if you are not fully awake from a night's sleep. 

I'm not sure why, but with this Covid vaccine shot (my 2nd) my arm got really sore, red and bruised looking.  I did not feel the injection much but I sure do 'after'.

78 this morning.  Weather right now is pretty much "if you liked yesterday you will like today, and tomorrow, and the next day, etc." Actually warm enough to run the cooler in the afternoon.  Home Depot sold out of "swamp" coolers over the weekend.  Here in the desert "swamp" or evaporative coolers are the most widely used as they are less expensive to run than refrigeration A/C and with the dry humidity they work pretty well.  As usual people wait until the last minute to replace a worn out one.

46° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 59°/30°. A nice Spring day.

My wife goes for her 1st shot today. I took mine on 15/03.
My 2nd shot is due by the end of the month. Having taken the first one, I will have to go ahead with the 2nd, whether it hurts, swells or makes me sick. For the 1st one I went really LC for a week and I sailed smoothly through it. Will repeat that for the 2nd as well.

Lockdown is like last year. Everything except essential services is closed. Offices are forced to close. Building with more than 5 cases are sealed and fine of 10000/- is imposed if society doesn't follow rules. Mumbai is more than 11000 cases per day.

Sweety, we're having substantial increases as well, however without the lockdowns. What's different this time is the affected age group which has shifted to the 30-50 year-old group. What I'm hearing in this area is substantial cynicism regarding the efficacy of the vaccine since those of us who have had it are warned to maintain essentially identical precautions as before.

Our weather here hit a high of 81 yesterday.  A predicted high of 77 today.  Hubby started planting our garden yesterday with lettuce and some potatoes for him.  The birds love it when he has dug up the dirt and applied compost.  Robins flock to that part of the garden looking for worms and bugs.  It is so nice to look outside and see green instead of that cold, white stuff called snow.

skb - Best wishes to your wife after her shot.  Some people said it made them sick, others say they had no side effects.

Sweety - Being isolated is no fun, but a necessary thing I guess to keep you all safe.

84 this morning.  Warm and windy today, just another day in the desert.
SKB, I didn't really have any worse reaction from the second shot except my arm was maybe a little bit more sore but still not bad.  Hope it is the same for you.
In California and here locally the number of new cases is dropping quite a bit and more counties are opening up gradually.  The governor claims we will be fully open in July so we will see how that goes.  Anyone over 50 is now eligible for the vaccine and  on April 15 anyone over 16 will be so the more vaccinated the better.

The black birds were back really early this year, but so far no robins yet.

Ami also didn't get a choice for the vaccine. She had to take the Oxford one. And yes, the 2nd wave has affected more younger people than the elder.

We are work from home mode so it is okay. Daughter's studies also keep us busy.

Yesterday was beautiful here and today promises a repeat. We won't be getting temperatures in the 80s for a while yet, but today's high is predicted to be nearly 70 - all good as far as I'm concerned.

Today we're having the opposite of yesterday's weather which is cooler temperatures and rain.  Hubby is happy he got some garden planted while it was temperatures in the 70s and not today when it is 60 something and rain.

I'm glad the soreness from the Covid shot is finally receding.  I'm grateful we had the chance to get the shot.  We don't do a lot of shopping out and about, but at least when we do go, we feel a little bit more protected.

85 this morning.  We are going to be around 87-88° with humidity around 12-14% for the next few days.  Pretty "Springy" around here.  Flowers are blooming all over.

63° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 46°/25°.

It was really windy yesterday, not quite as bad today. Unfortunately it has lifted the the rubber roof on my addition... have a roofer coming out tomorrow. Sheesh...I still hate the wind...
