My son shared some Sumatran coffee with me yesterday.  Really a nice change from a medium roast.  It is not easy to find in this area however.

We are growing weary of cloudy days with no sunshine.  My weather app does not show any promise of sunshine for another whole week.

I'm late posting today on account of I'm having trouble swallowing once again which reminds me of how I felt when I had the cancer. At first today, I couldn't even swallow liquids.

Meanwhile, I have gotten my morning meds in and am slowly nibbling at a piece of toast drenched in butter to soften it (so far so good as long as I chew well).

I'm very much hoping that sensation of not being able to swallow dissipates quickly. Could be I was just full but that seems odd first thing in the morning.

I guess I'll have to make sure things are puréed and hope for the best.

91 this morning.  It is going to start warming up now and we are supposed to be in the low 70s by Wednesday.  Pretty warm for January and even warmer in the Los Angeles area with highs in the 80s predicted. 
Gosh Tamagno, that sounds tough to deal with.  Hope it gets better soon.

34° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 41°/27°. Doubtful t will go that high as it is only 22° right now.

John - I hope the sensation of not being able to swallow goes away soon.  Be safe and feel better quickly.

We have sunshine today for the first time in over a week.  It is so nice and definitely uplifts one's spirit.

93 this morning.  It is supposed to start warming up starting tomorrow but it is still cold in the morning. 
Off in a couple of min. for an echocardiogram and then an appointment tomorrow with my cardiologist.  Routine follow up and I guess it is necessary.

Well, something's going on in there - I can get some foods down if they're either very soft to start or puréed. I'm hoping it'll just resolve itself.

John, I am so sorry you are still having problems swallowing. Did you talk to your doctor?

I so much don't want to deal with more tests and procedures - I keep looking for where I'm plugged in and a factory reset, but to no avail...

83 this morning.  Cooler than expected yesterday but it is supposed to start warming up starting today.  We are supposed to be in the low 70s for a couple of days, at least through the weekend.
I got a call from my cardiologist office yesterday and he wants to do my appointment today over the phone so it will be my first.  I don't have a problem with that, all of the testing has been done so there is no need for a hands on appointment.  I wonder if they charge the same for a phone appointment as a personal visit ?
