87 this morning.  Today is going to be the coolest of the week at 75° with wind but it starts warming up again tomorrow and back to the 80s.
Off the the Dentist shortly to have a crown replaced.  I don't really enjoy going to the Dentist but then I don't know anyone that does.

It is 39° here right now, the forecast for today is 52°/30°. Yesterday's high was 45° so hopefully today will be even warmer.

The Covid situation is alarming in India. At its peak in Sept 2020 we had 97k cases per day. Yesterday we have crossed 200k. I don;t where this is going. A 15 day complete lockdown is in place in our State.

Stay safe over there, SKB, it sounds as though cases are going up after the vaccine. It'd be interesting to know what age group is primarily affected.

Not a very pretty day today with temperatures neither warm nor cold plus light rain most all day.

It is not particularly a nice day here either.  Very cloudy, temperature at 43 deg F, and a slight wind.  Good day to stay indoors.

skb - Be safe as much as possible.  It sounds like India might have contracted one of the variants of Covid that are discussed briefly in the television news.  We heard last night on Television about a variant from Brazil that is resistant to known vaccines now available. 

Wally - How did your dentist appointment go for you?  You're right, not many people enjoy going to the dentist.  I know I love it when I am 'leaving' the dentist office.

Barbara - If you get some warmer weather, do send it our way when you are done with it.  I would like some sunshine and warm breeze instead of cold winds from the northwest like we had yesterday.

88 this morning.  Really nice weather here, 72° and windy yesterday but warming up today and heading back to th4 80° range. Wish I could send some your way but it will get there eventually.  Iris are in full bloom right now.
SKB, I have seen India is getting hit really hard.  Here in the USA most states are doing pretty good and yet there are areas being hit hard.  In some cases people just refuse to follow safety guidelines and want to do as they please and it doesn't work.  Stay as safe as you can.
Almost 2 hours in the Dentist chair yesterday and I was tired after that.  I got a temporary crown and need to go back in a couple of weeks to get the permanent crown put in.  I feel fine now but I did chew in my lip a bit when it was numb without knowing it and it is a bit sore this morning.  Just glad to have it over with.

48° ended up being the high yesterday, today's forecast is 55°/30°.

Keep safe skb, and Sweety too, those numbers are scary! So far Montana is not seeing a spike and I hope it stays that way.

I didn't go out yesterday, I need to do it today. I have one more bill I need to pick up at the PO.

If "they" are to be believed, it is a new, doubly mutated strain, and this time the target audience is between 25 - 45 years of age. I believe, nobody knows nothing and it will be a full decade before the true facts are known.

I get my 2nd shot today, and hope that like the first time, I will undergo only soreness at the injected site.

Cold and rainy today but a fair bit is now blooming and sun and heat can't be too far behind.

Woke up this morning to find that my sensor (the 10-day one I inserted Monday) is already having problems. I'll have to wait and see if it gets itself going again.

skb - I agree with you about 'nobody knows nothing'.  I feel that the entire story about Covid is yet to be told.  Be safe as much as possible and Good Luck with the second shot.

bigskygal - I hope you are able to get your errand done today and the weather is cooperating with you.  How are the kitties that visit your place?

80 this morning.  Weather here is warming up again and pushing up to the high 80s this weekend.  It looks like that is where we will be for the rest of the month and then May could be a lot hotter.

109 this mostly clear morning. It is burning season here so the air is full of smoke.

52° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 59°/30°.

Yes did go out yesterday, didn't have complete success though, the drug store was out of the test strips I like. Will have to go out again Monday to pick them up.

I currently have 3 gray kitties hanging around. One has been here for years, one is really shy and runs if it sees me, the third is fluffy and soooo friendly (also think she is preggers) which makes me sad. Don't know what I will do with kittens...

Got my second shot along with my sister and mother (who is 86). All of us are fine and not displaying any of the niggles. For me, though the injection hurt a bit (bad technique I think) but the site doesn't hurt like the last time because this time I used an ice pack on it as advised. Otherwise all good, no fever or anything like that.

Glad to hear so far no bad results. I'm still on the fence re vax will remain basically isolated until I decide.

Another middle-of the night sensor failure last night.  Back to the drawing board...

Earlier it looked like another overcast day, but the sun has come out with a vengeance making for a better forecast than I'd thought.
