I read on Facebook, and do not know the validity of that source, that people who are fully vaccinated might now require a booster in 6 months???  How are 'they' going to keep track of who had what booster?  Some of us have family who are not at all vaccinated because of the vaccine not being available to all ages yet.  Most confusing.

102 this morning.  Weather here is no surprise and pretty much the same day to day with occasional wind but in the low to mid 80s so enjoying it right now.  I really like shorts and T-shirt weather.
Grammabear, while I look at anything on Facebook as not so reliable it has been in the news.  Yes there may be a need for a booster shot at sometime it is still unknown if it will be necessary or when.  It is too soon to tell right now  but they are preparing for it to be ready if it becomes necessary.  Just like the Flu shot we may need a booster each year but that is all speculation.  There is a record of everyone that has been vaccinated and follow up should not be a problem.  Right now in California everyone over 16 years old is eligible for the vaccine so it is just a matter of supply which has been getting better.

Call it a 'booster' or whatever you like, but the injections are a permanent feature of life now. Who knows what else is coming. In January of 2020 nobody could have predicted the way things have turned out. Life, surely has changed.

It is definitely disconcerting who knows where this will all go/end...if ever. We each have to make our choice re the vax. I have said before I haven't had a flu vax for well over 20 years and haven't had the flu. With my medical history I am hesitant at this point to get the Covid vax. If it was made mandatory, I don't know what I would do. I guess right now I am relying on "herd immunity". My state is large with a small population, many are vaccinated, I take extreme precautions...and as a self proclaimed hermit I don't feel at a lot of risk, but who knows? At this point right now it is a risk I am still ready to take...

Vaccine is not available to my age group as yet. I will take it as soon as they start giving it to us.

Given a choice, I wouldn't take one. In the long run, I don't think choices will be give, rather, this is going to be an annual feature.

Sadly, I don't think life as we knew it will ever return to normal.  I am old enough to remember the Polio epidemic and how worried my parents were at that time.  I would like to think that maybe things will relax a bit, but who knows?  Shopping has changed a lot especially online shopping.  You can get things now online that no one would have dreamed of buying through delivery.

Weather here is cloudy and gray but supposed to be around 63 deg F.

Another new sensor installed which hopefully lasts it's entire 10 days.

I wouldn't be surprised that booster shots are indeed coming. I'm hearing this from my wife whose hospital have been talking about it.

This whole affair is pushing a lot of my sci-fi conspiracy buttons as I get increasingly the feeling that there's more to this story and we're just in the first stages of strange times. This is a bit different from polio owing to the nature of the wee beastie involved which in this modern case can freely mutate.

This is not diabetes related, but can anyone recommended a multi port charging brick for iphone SE?  My old one has decided to quit working and I need a multi port charger.

I don't know what you mean by multi port, 2,3,4 ports ?  There are lots of them listed on Amazon but I have always had good luck with Anker or Amazon basics.

I don't have a problem with vaccinations and if it turns out that we need a booster so be it.  I get a flu shot every year just for the extra protection it gives.  I do believe that things will be back to normal, it takes time for the whole population to develop immunity but it will happen.

Part of my brain tells me that it is economic warfare. Like everything else, can't be certainly certain.
