Quote from: Tamagno on May 29, 2021, 06:36:33 AMThey sent me home with more Dilaudid and a plan to get the effusion drained after Memorial day. The good news is that that procedure is an outpatient affair and shouldn't be difficult.

Hope things go as planned and you're out of the pain.
We're almost at the beginning of June and the usual date of monsoon is around the 10th, give or take a week. The next 4 months will be rain all around.

118 this morning.

It is just 57 deg F today with a high of 70 deg F.  So our weather is about right for this time of year.

87 this morning.  We are supposed to hit 98° today and 102° tomorrow, the first high over 100° this year so hot but normal for here.
Threw a tenderloin steak on the BBQ last night.  Great weather for grilling outside in the evening.  It was really quite good.   ~bbq~  ~hgr~

99 this blue sky morning.

62° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 75°/36°.

I think my project for this weekend is going to be to clean out my freezer. It is crammed full and I fear most is well past it best by date...

Missing Tamagno this morning, hope he is OK. Maybe the deep sleep of dilaudid?

Yes, I think so too.

I miss my steaks. After the ban on beef I have not had a good steak in a long long time.

154 this morning.

Sorry to be late! I was up by 6:30am but it takes me a while to get washed up and tidy up the kitchen before I can sit down with my breakfast and coffee. (I'm very devoted to doing things in a specific order.)

It's still pretty chilly here which I think will continue until tomorrow. No grilling for us until then, but my wife did make a tasty chicken curry last night.

I'm a bit distracted this morning as I found a new lump of substantial size in one of my lymph nodes this morning. Good grief, yet another thing that will have to be checked out.  So far no pain except to the touch but its grown quickly.  I'm hopeful its just a fatty tumor of some sort and no cause for concern, of course.

116 this morning.

We had a nice cookout on the grill with chicken breasts and bratwurst yesterday.  Weather was beautiful.

It has been fun watching the puppy play with her brother.  It's funny how they communicate without words.

93 this morning.  We hit 99° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 102° today.  It's 82° right now at 7:30 AM so that sounds right.
Today is Memorial Day in the USA when we honor those that have fallen defending the country so my flag is flying.  Unofficially most people consider this the start of Summer.  Feels like it here.
SKB, that is sad. I didn't realize there was a ban on beef there.
Tamagno, hope it's nothing but good to have it checked out as soon as you can.

96 this mostly blue sky morning.

70° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 79°/41°.

Hope everyone here in the US has a nice Memorial Day.

Tamagno, I too hope it is nothing but glad you found it and can get it checked soon. Sending good thoughts your way.

Tamagno, do get that checked. And hope that all turns out best for you.

It rained again yesterday morning. Pre-monsoon or effect of some depression somewhere, who knows.

100 again today.

Tamagno

162 this morning.

It'll be a busy morning here with phone calls to my oncologist and local hospital to see about getting my lung drained and having that lump checked out (although I've decided its just a swollen lymph gland).

Its kind of funny as my Fitbit now wants to track stress levels. For years now I've thought that people excessively imagine themselves to be stressed when in reality they've just encountered a couple of things not going their way - actual stress being something like being in a fire or hurricane, etc. So, my entry into my Fitbit was just neutral which I think is accurate.  As I've never before tried to actually contemplate my level of stress if I use this feature I'll have to think about it - I guess I'll try it a few days and see what I think (hey now, wait a minute, I think I'm getting stressed thinking about stress...)

104 this morning.

My Fitbit has decided to take a vacation from working.  It just works when it wants and at other time it doesn't work.  It is fully charged so that is not a problem.  I suppose it could be worn out after 4-5 years.

Our son and his pups left for home last night.  This morning is kind of quiet as there were no happy puppy faces to greet me when I got up.

I have a doctor appointment this afternoon to check my diabetes per Medicare requirements. I'm also fairly certain I have a UTI again too.

Hope you can get your appointments scheduled without any problems Tamagno.

I had trouble logging in to the account here earlier today.  Maybe Wally encountered the same problem.  Hope all is well with him.
