Sweety - I think the article must have been referring to maybe old people?  When my children were young like your daughter, there was NO time for a nap.  The children would have made mischief if I took a nap.

Yes the article indeed focuses on older people. Even a 5 minute 'wink' is enough it says.

Had a couple of those 5 minute "winks" yesterday which is uncommon for me, but since I didn't sleep well the night before not unsurprising...

Me too, since it was a Sunday. I spent a Sunday at home after 3 weeks.

I don't normally like naps because I fell all out of sorts and worse than before I napped. But on those days after a sleepless night they do help.

I also have those 'occasional' nights when sleep seems to be evasive.  The next day I am really non productive in the true sense of the word.  I am out of sorts and wish I could have longer than a 5 min wink.

I usually get a pretty good nights sleep and rarely nap and if I do I am like Barbara and feel lousy after.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.
