I attended a wedding yesterday and the dinner was a vegetarian fare so I had to eat a little of everything with some rice. There were also some Indian sweets which were hard to resist. Tested at 1 hr 30 min and I was at 175.
No meds since June 2011

Yeah, I had a 179 after a bowl of soup that usually doesn't raise my bg too high.  No sweets so I guess the pain ?
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.
