Yes! thank you! The ice on back of neck really worked well! It is early but I am wiped out and going to bed early.

84 this morning.  We had Tilapia last night and fish is obviously good for my bg number.  Our high yesterday was 72° so not quite as high as the 76V prediction but it is starting out a couple of degrees warmer this morning so it may get to the 76° predicted for today.  Glad the ice on the back of your neck worked for you Barbara.  I should have thought of that earlier but it was a lot of years ago for me that I used it, like over 65!

114 this cold morning.

49° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 45°/30°. It is almost 11AM and it just started lightly snowing.

I did the stupid thing again this morning, I lightly, very lightly blew my nose and it started bleeding again. :(  The ice packs didn't work as quickly this time sadly.They did work eventually though. I have got to stop with the nose blowing and just blot instead.

Don't they have some kind of nasal drops to stop that ? I'm sure there are. I remember one time, I had a nose bleed in Leh, Ladakh which was due to the elevation, low oxygen and dryness there whereas I am a Mumbai born and brought up guy, which has sea on 3 sides.

Diwali season has ended and it is time to get back with my BG management. Will start with the food intake and the results should take 3-4 days to show up.

83 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 77° but it is going to drop to 72° today then start warming up again and we may see 80° this weekend.  Pretty warm for almost November, it's been a warm Fall this year and I think it is going to be a dry Winter also.

114 this cool partly cloudy morning.

44° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 50°/32°. The little bit of snow that fell here yesterday never stuck on the ground.

2 nose bleeds yesterday. First one was harder to stop than the second. So far today OK, but am taking it very easy.

Yes, skb, I have some lotion that Kathy recommended to me that is supposed to be good for nose bleeds. It is called Ayr, you put it around your nostrils or inside too. It hasn't been that great for stopping nose bleeds, but maybe for preventing.

Woke up during the night and was up with the puter building some Access/VB based database program for the Mrs. Totally forgot to check BG in the morning.

88 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 73° and it is supposed to be the same today but then a big increase tomorrow and Sunday and Monday we are supposed to be at 80° and 81° then the roller coaster drops us and we will be in the low 60s and maybe even 50s.
My internet connection has been lousy for the last week.  I am only getting 15-20 Mbps download where it is normally 250 Mbps.  I van surf the internet OK and do email, even kind of do Youtube but not much more.  The new company is still working on getting this area of town ready to connect to their fiber network and has finished connecting areas North of here so it may not be too long.  I hate Mediacom!  I hear they are offering people lower cost deals but locking them into 3-4 year contracts!  They certainly see the writing on the wall with the new company that is going to be taking their customers.

46° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 52°/27°.

No nose bleeds yesterday...Yay!! Hoping for the same today.

Sadly, I accidentally put on a patch that had camphor in it yesterday. I had one nose bleed today but the ice packs stopped it fairly quickly.  Camphor seems to be my enemy!

109 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 74° and it is supposed to be heading to 77° today and 80° tomorrow for a brief heat wave then cooling down again.  They are looking at a chance of rain closer to the coast and even some snow in the mountains.  Of course any moisture would be quite welcome.
Well Barbara maybe it would be a good idea to get rid of anything with camphor and see if it helps.

49° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 54°/31°.

Yeah Wally, I need to put away anything with camphor in it for now. For some unknown reason it just doesn't agree with me. No more "mistakes" I am so tired of these nose bleeds!
