I checked today after a long time. The bad eating still continues on an off but I am going to get out of it. 134 today.

93 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 78° and it is predicted to get to 80° today, sheesh!  Pretty warm for almost November but it will start to cool down in a couple of days.
My new iPad Air would not turn on yesterday.  I used it in the morning and it was at about 60% charge and I plugged it in to the charger and when I tried to use it later it would not turn on.  I use the Apple charger and cable so it is not due to some cheap knock off but still it would not turn on.  I checked and Apple said to send it in for repair and since it is still under warranty there will be no charge but it will be out of service for a few days.  I have to wait for them to send me a box and then use that box to return it to Apple and wait for the repaired one or replacement which ever they decide to do.  I got used to having it so I will miss it until it is returned.

117 this partly cloudy morning.

49° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 54°/41°.

One relatively small nose bleed yesterday in the late afternoon. Took a bite of food and it began, no clue why. Fortunately the ice packs stopped it pretty fast. It is getting to the point where I barely dare to move...

That's scary. Take it very easy for a few days. Hopefully the problem will just go away and then you can be back to your normal.

I attended a get-together at the Shooting Range with my friends last night. We were pretty late returning home, so I did not remember to check in the morning.

Yes it is very scary today was a quiet day and no bleeds. I think may need to get at least one humidifier. The pots of water on the heater vents seem to work well but maybe a humidifier would work better?

88 this morning.  Our high yesterday did hit the predicted 80° and now it is going to start to cool down.  Only a couple of degrees today but it is going to get in the low 60s by the middle of the week. 
SKB, I read about the bridge collapse in India :

At least 140 people were killed after the bridge collapsed Sunday evening over the Machchu River in the western Indian state of Gujarat, according to state officials.

Quite a tragedy.

49° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 58°/44°.

I didn't hear about the bridge collapse in India. It does sound very tragic.

It was a pedestrian bridge that had recently been repaired by a private company.  There were about 500 people on the bridge at the time it collapsed.

OK proud mama has to boast. DD was just appointed Police Chief of Berkeley, CA! She has been acting police chief for a couple years but now it is an official promotion! Buttons busting all over the room here. I am so proud!

For her privacy, I will not post a photo of her.  I feel safe that no one here will divulge who she is...

Yes the bridge collapse was terrible. It was a cable stayed bridge just repaired and renovated and too many people came to see it first hand.

When I was going through all the news on my iPad yesterday morning, the 1st piece read "130 feared dead as bride collapses". I saved the screen before they realised their mistake and changed the heading. I thought of posting it here as a Gaffe but thought it was in bad taste, so didn't.

Mr. Modi is travelling there today.

Thanks, not only is she now Chief of Police she is also a member of the bar, a registered member of the bar a legal lawyer in the state of CA. My girl has done good!! Mama buttons still busting....

108 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 79° and now it is going to cool down.  Cooler today and windy and even in the 50s tomorrow, about time.

Thanks Wally, I am so proud of both my children. DS is a fire battalion Chief, his 3 daughters are in college. DD's 3 kids are elementary age, she started later.

Another day of taking it very easy ahead of me.
