88 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 63° and it is supposed to get to 65° today so a bit warmer.  It's actually quite nice in the sun in the afternoon.
My planned Mohs surgery turned out not necessary.  When the nurse was getting me ready for the Doctor she looked at the site and said it was so small it looked like it was probably not going to be necessary and when the Doctor looked at it he agreed that because it was so small it didn't need surgery, at least at this time and that they would just keep an eye on it.  I see him for a check up every 6 months.  I said it sounded good to me and packed up and went home.

24° was the high yesterday. Again very different overnight # depending on which site I look at, one says 37°/17°, the other says 38°/32°. Hoping for the second, but either is better than what it has been!

Had another meltdown yesterday, was going to go grocery shopping but realized all the expenses I have had lately and money was gone!! Yikes, never been there before! Totally panicked, called a couple of the repair people and they agreed not to cash my checks until Dec 1. Then called broker and had him sell some investments to cover overage, that $ will come Friday.

I think maybe now I can really relax?

That is why I don't think I will ever retire totally from work. It is always good to have some money coming in so that some investments can always be built up.

Yeah, I am beginning to calm down some. The saving grace here is I pay my natural gas bill way over each month so no balance there. In all this mess, I missed payment on Amazon credit card and it is overdue... I have some wiggle room and hope to be out from this mess soon.

What's next Universe? Don't see anything else you can do to me... No rephrase there isn't anything you can do that I can't fix! Stuff that!

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 66° and it is supposed to get to 69° today.  It is going to be in the high 60s through the weekend then next week we are supposed to be in the mid 50s. 
I am fortunate that I have been able to build up my savings account to handle surprises so I haven't had a problem since I retired but I do hope that I never have a "surprise" that would exceed what I have on hand. 
You're right Barbara, you can handle whatever the Universe is trying to do.

32° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is a lovely 42°/20°.

Not going aywhere until at least Friday when my $$ from investments hit checking. I don't have a savings account, I keep at least $1000 over monthly expenses in checking...it just all hit the fan with all the repairs. All of my money is in investments with Edward Jones, fortunately I can call them and sell some and get the $ in a few days.

I'm thinking the worst is over now...... I hope!

104 this morning.  our high yesterday was a bit of a surprise at 71° but that will probably be the warmest day of the week.  Today is supposed to be a couple of degrees cooler and it will be heading to the mid 50s next week. 
Yeah Barbara, you got hit pretty hard there with unexpected repairs and expenses.  Glad you are almost back to normal.
Happy Thanksgiving, not doing anything special today and my BIL has gone to Arizona to be with his brother and family so it's just me and the dog today.  I have a bacon wrapped Filet Mignon for my dinner so not a bad deal.

42° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 40°/21°. Enjoying the warming trend.

Kind of scrimping on Thanksgiving dinner. Took ou 3 chicken wings to thaw early last evening but fell asleep in recliner and they sat out longer than I feel safe to eat. So dinner is going to be fried rice with Spam...I'm OK with that. Tomorrow my $ should hit my checking and I can get a steak or turkey thigh for dinner...

Happy Thanksgiving guys. Technically, I am late in wishing you because it is Friday here, BUT, it is still Thursday there, so I'm good.

Had to attend a wedding and a dinner last night, and you know what happens at wedding dinners. So 134 today.

107 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 68° and it is supposed to be 66° today so pretty much the same.  It will be at or around here through the weekend but it is supposed to drop about 10° next week.

35° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 45°/28°, with a small chance of rain over night. Sure enjoying the warmer temps.

108 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 67°, almost the same as yesterday and the day before that and same, same, same.  Not bad though, it could be a lot colder and next week it is supposed to do that.
I slept in late today and didn't get up until 7:00AM which is about two hours longer than usual, must have needed it but I feel like I am way behind when I really don't have any where to go!

35° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 43°/27°. It could happen as at 11AM temp was 39° Yay!! Chance of snow tomorrow morning.
