103 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 67° and it is going to be the same today. Tomorrow the wind picks up and the temp will start to cool down.  Next week we are supposed to be in the 50s but in the high 50s so not too bad.  There is a small chance right now for a chance of rain Friday but that is really too far out to be accurate.  I hope it does though.
I have always had a desire to play with Microsoft Flight Simulator so since they came out with a new version I decided to get it and give it a try.  It actually came out in 2020 after several years of nothing new.  The latest version for 2022 is their 40 year celebration since the original.  There is a learning curve for sure but there are many people on line that offer tutorials and I am spending a lot of time watching and then trying to copy.  There are a huge number of airplanes included from simple one engine to jet airliners, helicopters and old historical aircraft, even the Wright Brothers first plane!  The detail is amazing and in the cockpit the entire instrument panel has all of the instruments, gauges and switches that are active and work just as they would in a real plane.  This is what is amazing to me.  The GPS works and you enter your flight plan and it follows you as you fly from point to point.  I am just using a mouse and a joystick for controlling it but there are controls sold that are like found in a real plane and you can spend a lot of money on them.  I don't think I am that much into it that I would spent several hundred dollars for a game control but there are apparently lots of people that do.

118 this cloudy morning. Rain/snow in forecast so guess that decides it for me not going anywhere today!

The high yesterday was 40°, today's forecast is 37°/23°. Hope it doesn't snow too much... Need to go out tomorrow, garbage day and shopping needed, plus PO trip. Geeze I'm tired just thinking about it...

Wally, you find the most interesting things! The flight simulator sounds like lots of fun!! Enjoy!

Wally, I did mention earlier that I was also very fond of Flight Simulator. Wouldn't mind doing that all over again but I will have to find the time for it. At this point of time I am very busy in making an Access App for my business needs. It is keeping my mind completely occupied, so much so, that I even dream of database fields and types and all sorts of things.

105 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 65° and today it is supposed to be just a couple of degrees cooler but windy.  It is calm right now but we do have a wind warning for the area later.  Tomorrow we will see about a 10° drop in the temp.
Yeah SKB you have a pretty full plate right now and I am sure games are not going to fit in your schedule.  Me on the other hand I am looking for things to keep me occupied.  The flight sim seems to do a pretty good job right now and I am enjoying it. It helps me to keep my brain active and not just sitting on the couch in front of the TV.

I agree. Perfect strategy Wally.

Totally forgot to check BG today morning. Actually, I slept pretty well that I was still sleepy when I woke up and went straight for my cup of tea.

89 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 66° and our predicted high for today is the same and not the big drop they were predicting a couple of days ago.  Now there is a small chance of rain Friday through Sunday.  Only 20-25% but you never know.  They are expecting up to 24 inches of snow in the mountains so that is good.
I have been "sleeping in" the last few days also.  I am usually up at 5:00AM to 5:30AM but the last few days I have slept to 6:00AM to 7:00AM and it throws my day off for some reason.  It is not like I have anywhere to go most days.  I do have to get going tomorrow, I have an appointment with my Dentist at 9:00AM to get the crown installed and then an appointment with my Cardiologist for a follow up.  If I don't post tomorrow morning don't worry, it just means I am running late! ~hlp~

My bg did much better when I was freezing! 135 this morning. Don't know why, guess it just is what it is...

29° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 23°/11°. Snowed this morning, just enough that I don't want to go out today so putting off shopping one more day.

Yeah Wally, I know how disturbing it is when you sleep late, the whole day feels off.

That's because the physical body likes the circadian rhythm a lot. Therefore, sleeping late, which we all do as youngsters, is not a good habit. As soon as ambient light disappears, it is time to go to sleep. These days I'm fast asleep by 9:30 pm most days. Some days even 8:30 pm.

86 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 61° with an overnight low of 29° and probably the same today.  As expected the chance of rain is getting smaller and now only a slight possibility on Sunday.
Yeah, nowadays I am in bed and asleep around 8:30-9:00 so it is normal to get up around 5:00-5:30AM.  It is kind of a surprise though to me to feel out of sorts when getting up at 6:00Am which is still fairly early but I guess it is what you get used to that matters.
I am off in a bit to the Dentist to get my crown put in and then I have a follow up with my Cardiologist.  If it were not for doctors and dentist I would not have to go out much at all.

118 this snowy morning.

Yesterday's high was 20°, today's forecast is 33°/28° with snow showers today, tonight and tomorrow. Glad I went out today!

Finally, my database is taking shape and I'm about it. Will be devoting more time to physical work out now.

101 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 63° and it is probably going to be around the same today but cloudy and windy later.  It is quite overcast and the overnight low was higher at 40° this morning but it is not going to drop any moisture.  Still a chance of some rain over the weekend but we will just have to wait and see.
I got my new crown yesterday and it looks and works good so happy about that.  Had an appointment with my cardiologist and good news there, lung X-ray shows the lung completely clear now and everything else doing well.  I don't need to see him for three months.  I do seem to be improving and feel better each day so far.  I am still using the walker but most of the time it is just for safety as I can walk without using it for support but it is there if I need it if I were to lose my balance.  I really don't want to fall!
