Great news Wally. I suppose there is no need for the Oxygen as well, or do you still use it ?

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 60° and it is supposed to be the same today with cloudy skies.  Still a small chance of rain here tomorrow and Sunday but they are getting rain and snow in the mountains to the North.  Snow in the Sierras with two feet overnight at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and they expect to get at least another foot by tomorrow.  Right now they are sitting at 7 feet at the summit.
No SKB, I was able to get off the need for the supplemental oxygen about a month ago and the company has picked up the equipment.  I have a sp02 meter and check my 02 level once in a while just to see and it is usually at 96-98% so normal.  It is such a relief to not have to be attached to the 02 equipment.
I did get a call from my cardiologist office yesterday and he wants me to have another session with the heart monitor that they refer to as the "patch".  That is not the real name but it is attached to your arm by an adhesive patch and you wear it for a week.  it monitors your heart during that time and then you remove it and send it to their lab for their assessment and report to the doctor.  It replaces the Holter Monitor to detect arrhythmias and it is so much easier to wear, no cables or harness to deal with.

111 at 4:16AM this morning...really need to get back on a normal schedule.

35° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 28°/6° with just a slight chance of snow flurries.

Glad to hear you are off the O2 Wally. That patch system sounds so much better than the Holter monitor! I had to wear one a long time ago and it was a real pain...

Yup, that's convenient and AF has its own sneaky ways to come and go when it wants. I think I have learnt to accept it as just one of those things. Haven't had any episodes in a long time. And, I think the triggers are mostly mental.

102 this morning.  I just realized that I forgot to post this morning. ~tnk~
I was ready and then got busy doing something and it just slipped my tiny mind.
Hoping to get some rain this weekend but so far just clouds.

105 this morning.  Well, it looks like our chance of rain here has passed and we will just have some scattered clouds.  Still looking good for some more snow in the mountains though so that is good.
Interesting you asked SKB, I had not done any 3D printing for quite a while and just the other day a girl on a local neighborhood forum asked if anyone had a 3D  printer that could print something for her.  She had downloaded the file for her item and I took a look at it.  It is a holder for ink bottles she uses for art projects and it holds 24 of the bottles, they are pretty small.  I replied to her, she lives nearby, and told her I would give it a try, I just needed a project to get back to using my printer.  One of the files was a 3 place holder as a test to make sure it works before doing the 24 place holder so I printed that and she came by with one of her ink bottles and it fits perfectly so I am going to go ahead and print the 24 place holder.  I just am glad to have something for a project, this print is a 12 hour print so I need to plan for the whole day.  I don't like to go to bed with the printer running.  Many people have print jobs that run 24 hours or longer but I am not comfortable doing that.

Wow. What an interesting project and the added pleasure of helping someone.

I also slept a little extra and forgot to test this morning.

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was a surprising 67° but it will be a bit cooler today with an expected high of 61°.  No rain in sight for at least the next 10 days and December is usually one of our best months for rain but the snow in the Sierras is a big help.
I have an appointment with my PCP today at noon so I won't get to print the project today, I won't leave the house and let the printer go on alone.  I probably will do it tomorrow.

118 this snowy morning.

Yesterday's high was 32°, today's forecast is 34°/24° with snow in the morning. This is going to be a hard Winter...and it isn't even Winter yet!

Maybe you can start thinking about making that move to CA, at least seasonally.

106 this morning.  A bit cooler yesterday with a high of 60° but still nice in the sun and nothing even close to what Barbara is going through.  I would have a hard time with that.
I was going to run that print job I had mentioned yesterday but forgot that I had an appointment with my PCP and it is going to run all day long so I put it off until today, I won't leave the printer running unattended.  It probably would be OK but I just don't like to take any chance for something to go wrong.  I made a couple of adjustments to the program and the time changed from 12 hours to 9 1/2 hours so not quite as long.  So far it looks pretty good, it has been running 1 1/2 hours now.  I am glad that this got me back to using the printer, it is fun and I had just stopped even thinking of it when I could not manage to stand for any time.  If that became a permanent situation I could always replace the work bench with a desk that I could sit at.

105 this morning.

32° was the high yesterday, todays's forecast is 40°/23 with snow showers this morning.

Yeah skb, that is a nice dream to go to CA for the winter...but who is going to feed the 14 cats that depend on me for food?? Certainly not the original owners of the mama cat that started this colony!
