29° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 36° for a high and either 18° or 30° for a low. I need to make a PO and grocery run, was going to do it today, but think I will wait until tomorrow...

Wow Wally that sounds like a huge nightmare! I am a couple upgrades behind on my laptop. Apparently my internet isn't fast enough for it to complete before it fails. Not techy at all so I really don't know what to do...

I'm still with Windows 10 on my laptop and Windows 7.0 on my Desktop. Sometimes the upgrade doesn't offer much in terms of functionality but is done just to keep up with competition. Windows 97 and Windows XP still remains my all time favourites.
I recently tried the dictation feature to type a long text document. Must say it worked pretty well given our Indianized English accent.

83 this morning.  It is supposed to be getting warmer but it was 26° this morning.  Hoping that it warms up a bit more.  We are supposed to be around 70°
for daytime highs in a couple of days.
I am quite happy with Windows 10 and tried the upgrade to see how it was.  I didn't expect it to completely crash but I should have prepared for it to do so.  Back to 10 now and happy with it.
Barbara, I don't know why you have such a problem with updating your Mac.  Maybe you are right about the internet speed.  I have had no problem on my Mackbook but it does take a long time and I have a decent internet download speed.  I normally install all updates on my computers and other devices as they usually contain security updates.  Windows !! is a new operating system and I don't think it is ready yet.  Windows 10 will still send updates for security and other fixes for another 4 years so updating to Windows 11 is really not necessary. 
I had an appointment with the orthopedic doctor yesterday about the sciatica and it was interesting.  I do have a fracture of one of my vertebrae but the source of the problem is that due to age some of the disks shrink and a couple of the vertebrae have slipped a bit and pinch the nerve.  I have been advised to start PT and continue the medication and return in 3-4 weeks to see how it has worked.  I am still having pain but the meds help to keep it not too bad so we will see what the PT does. 

I am getting used to the Apple watch and learning about the functions it has.  It is aimed at several health sensors and the heart rate, SPO2, EKG and heart rate features seem to be useful and pretty accurate.  There is a rumor that the next Apple watch 8 will have a glucose sensor for continuous blood glucose measurement.  This is something Apple has been working on for about 5 years so it will be interesting to see if the rumor is true.

A surprising 43° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 42°/28°. It is really melty and sloppy outside. Don't think I'm going anywhere today, too muddy and yucky out.

Slept late and feel kind of fuzzy this morning, that also leads me not to want to go anywhere...

Yes, I have read that about the next series of watches from Apple. Wally, can you record and download the ECG to a computer?

102 this morning.  Our overnight low was 44° so quite a bit warmer than it has been.  We are supposed to be heading for daytime highs in the 70s for next week.
SKB the ECG automatically sent to your phone but I don't see any way to send it to a computer.

43° was the high yesterday, when I went to bed just after 2AM it was 20°. Nice to have it warmer. Today's forecast is 42°/24° so about the same as yesterday.

Go to make a quick trip out today just to the PO and grocery store. Getting low again on kitty food.

Didn't go out today, I have a couple more errands to run so only want to go out once...so Monday it is. I have to go the eye dr on Friday and that is enough "out" for me this month!

101 this morning.  It was 70° yesterday and should be the same today.  It is supposed to be around 78° tomorrow and the next couple of days.  Not a drop of rain in sight and February is usually one of our best months for rain. 
I have an appointment with my Dermatologist this morning and the sciatica has improved enough that I can manage driving and walking so it should not be a problem. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

these are pretty unusual temps for this time of year her, but I welcome them!

83 this morning.  We had tacos last night.  I do good with tacos and yummy!
We are supposed to be in the mid to high 70s for the rest of the week and in the Los Angeles area they are having a heat wave with temps in the mid 80s.  They are looking at 80 for the Super Bowl on Sunday! 
No rain in sight for the West Coast.  After the good rain and snow at the end of December it has remained dry and what we got is not going to end the drought.

I'm glad I waited until yesterday to do my errands. I got everything done and now all I have to do is go to the eye doc on Friday then come home.
