109 this morning.  No rain today but cloudy and tomorrow we are supposed to have an 80% chance but it is also supposed to have winds 20-30 MPH and that usually means no rain right here but there will be more snow in the Sierras so that is a good thing.
Hope you get, or got, your cat food Barbara.

107 this partly cloudy morning.

34° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 40°/32° with a 34% chance of showers overnight.

Cat food shows as Out for Delivery, finally it took another vacation in Billings for some odd reason. I will be so happy when it is finally here! Now I'm hoping my other neighbor can bring it in for me. Will be so glad when these back restrictions are lifted!

102 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 58° so not too bad and dry but we are expecting rain today to start here in a couple of hours.  Probably not a lot but still something.  As normal a lot heavier in Northern California but still Southern California will get some.  Another storm is supposed to be getting here Monday so I hope it keeps coming.

113 this mostly cloudy morning.

31° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 40°/29° no rain/snow in forecast.

OT person coming Tuesday. She said there will be lots of questions to be filled out... I asked if she could assemble my walker and she said yes...then I asked if she could replace lightbulb in my hallway, it was burned out when I got home and hall is really dark. She said yes! that is a relief as I really didn't want to think about climbing up on a chair, plus reaching over my head is a no-no right now...

107 this morning.  It started to rain about 9:00AM yesterday, a very light rain, and was steady all day so while it was quite light it did add up and we ended up with a total of 0.39 inch which Barbara and SKB will laugh at but for here it is a good rain.  My rain gauge on my weather station measures .01 inch increments and the rate of rain most of the day was .07 inch/hour  ;D  like I said, a pretty light rain but on the plus side it soaks in and doesn't all run off down the road.  Other parts of California are having a hard time dealing with more than they can handle and floods and land slides are causing a lot of havoc. 
Glad you have someone coming to help you out Barbara.  It is not easy, or sometimes even possible, to take care of some things when you are healing.

106 this cloudy morning.

Yesterday's high was 32°, today's forecast is 37°/29° with a small chance of snow showers in the morning.

I am glad the OT reviewer agreed to do those 2 things for me. Pretty sure she doesn't have to...  My neighbor has been taking my garbage up to the road and will as long as I am restricted. Another great help. Then the neighbor that took care of my kitties while I was in hospital is taking me to dr appointment on Tuesday. I am truly grateful for their help!!

107 this morning.  Well, we didn't get any rain here yesterday but we got a drizzle early this morning, .03 inch so not much but enough to get the pavement wet.  In the mountains it is another story and the local mountains have snow all the way down to the base.  Farther North Mammoth Mountain got 3 feet yesterday and now sits at 15 feet deep at the base and 21 feet deep at the summit so quite good.  We don't show anything for the next few days so I hope it is not over like last year.

Snap Wally! 107 here this morning too.

40° was the high yesterday, some rain in evening and a dusting of snow overnight. Today's forecast is 36°/29° with a chance of snow showers in the evening and fairly good chance of snow showers overnight.

I was looking at a video on Weather Underground about the sink holes and all the damage the rain has done. I feel really sorry for all the people and all they have lost due to the storms. Scary!

We have an entire town up in the hills in North India that is sinking. Huge cracks are developing in the structures and roads. Some say that it is due to some tunneling work going on, others say it is a natural phenomena. Either ways for those who are suffering, it is terrible.

105 this morning.  Well, the rain has passed and some areas are going to be very happy to dry out.  Here things are normal and we have a clear dry sky.  There is no rain in the picture for the next ten days and temps will be in the mid 50s.
The Sierras have received snow deeper than they have gotten for a long time but I hope it doesn't get too warm too soon like last year.  So far it looks good.

OT interviewer coming this afternoon. She is going to assemble my walker and replace light bulb in hall light. Plus as she said a whole bunch of questions to assess my needs and current abilities...
