82 this morning.  Salad for dinner makes for good fasting numbers!  Our high yesterday was 53° and the overnight low was a cold 27°!   ~shvr~

Today it is going to start warming up so that is a good thing.

111 this cold, partly cloudy morning. It was 10° when I got up just after 7AM, now a couple hours later it is up to 20°. Sorry Wally, I'd happily take your 27°. LOL

Yesterday's high was 35°, today's forecast is 41°/15°. The worst is next week the forecast has overnight lows in the minus #'s for a couple of days, with snow a couple of days prior to that. :(  I was really hoping we were past that much cold...

133 this morning.  I tried a couple of pieces of Pizza last night, not that good of an idea!  ~fno~
Well, today is another day.
Our high yesterday was 55° and the overnight low was 29° so warming up just a bit but it is going to warm up a lot and it is supposed to get to 70° Monday and Tuesday then a big drop of 20° Wednesday with a small chance of rain here but plenty of rain and snow in other areas.
Yeah Barbara, I know these temps are not cold where you are.  It is what you are used to I guess.  I was used to much colder temps when up on the mountain and even enjoyed it for a while and since it didn't last for more than maybe a week it wasn't that bad.  When I was working it could be difficult and I wore long johns for a good part of the winter along with insulated boots and a parka.

113 this cloudy morning.

The high yesterday was 45°, nice! Today's forecast is 40°/28° with chance of snow this morning.

I was just kidding about the weather Wally, I know it is what you are used to. I don't do well when the heat is over 85° so there is that...

And people here would consider that as very comfortable as a day time high. Things start to get hard over 100.

I wouldn't last long at that temp! I was born in Wisconsin (I grew up in the Bay Area of CA) but the cold doesn't get to me like the heat does. I think it might be some sort of genetic thing that I deal far better with the cold than the heat.

107 this morning.  It is warming up for the next couple of days and we are expecting 67° today and 69° tomorrow and Tuesday then a 20° drop on Wednesday and then a fairly good chance of rain Friday then again Sunday.  Other areas are going to see quite a bit of rain and snow levels in the mountains as low as 3000 feet.  They may see as much as 2 feet of snow so that will be a good thing.  It is going to help the drought quite a bit as the snow pack is a big part of the water supply.
Yeah I know you were kidding about the temp Barbara but I think it is interesting how the body does adapt to the local conditions when you are there for a while. I was much more tolerant of the cold when I lived in it and worked in it than I am now and I am more tolerant of the heat now that I live in it, however we do have a well insulated house and good cooling so there is that.  I thankfully don't have to go out when it is the hottest part of the day anymore but I used to have to work in it and did OK.  I agree with SKB, 85° is not bad at all, in fact I like it but over 100° gets difficult.  Actually 105° seems to be the point where I balk at being outside but it is, all kidding aside, a dry heat and that makes a difference.

111 this cloudy morning. 30° when I got up just after 7AM, not bad!

Yesterday's high was a wonderful 42°. Todays forecast is 39°/27° with snow flurries morning and maybe evening too. Just a light dusting at this point.

Even as harsh as some Winters can be here, I knowingly chose MT as I knew it was mostly mild the other 3 seasons. Plus I love the open spaces and the small overall population. Perfect for the hermit in me!

Well its 8.40 am here and already we're at 79oF, so you can imagine what the rest of the day is going to be like. And remember this is February. We still have 3-4 months of the hot summer ahead.

Oh dear...I was there mid September through mid October and the weather was pretty decent as I remember. A few warmer days but not uncomfortable. I don't think I could deal with the heat of your summers!

86 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 66° and it is supposed to get to 69° today and tomorrow then about a 20° degree drop Wednesday as a cold front starts to pass through and bring a cold winter storm to all of Southern California.  This is supposed to be the coldest storm system of the year with snow levels as low as 100 feet and we are expecting rain Friday and Saturday and even a chance of some snow.  For here it's a novelty and it happens from time to time but it only lasts, usually, one day if that.
It doesn't usually start to warm up a lot here until maybe May or June and July and August are typically the hottest months.

117 this drizzly morning. It was 30° when I got up at 7AM!!

40°was the high yesterday with just a tiny dusting of snow. Today's forecast is 45°/33°with rain in the morning and maybe showers in the afternoon and then maybe some snow overnight.

Well, Wally, I think your cold will be here Wed and Thur both days have overnight temps in the negative #s and daytimes single digits. then slowly warming a bit again. Just hoping it doesn't get quite that cold and my extreme cold protocols work!!

I was listening to some news on the TV in the morning and the Indian Met has warned of a severe heat wave this year in some parts. It's mid Feb and some parts are at 97oF already.

105 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 71° and it is supposed to be the same today.  Tomorrow we are going to see a 20° drop as the storm front starts to come through.  Looking forward to significant rain with possible snow starting Friday through Sunday.  It is a major storm coming out of the North so cold.  I don't know how it will affect MT but I hope Barbara is OK.
Off in a bit to see the Spine Specialist but I don't expect to get much out of it.  Maybe I will but I don't expect much.
