That is about all I remember too Missouri Ozarks, and it was very remote...

97 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 63° but it is supposed to get to 70° today!  I don't know about that as the overnight low was 31° and the wind in supposed to pick up this afternoon to 20-30 MPH.  There is another storm system heading to California supposed to be here tomorrow with rain, snow and low temps.  More snow in the mountains and more rain in the lower areas. We are not expecting anything here.
 Midwest and southern states are in danger of thunderstorms with hail possibly the size of baseballs and more tornados.

106 this mostly cloudy morning.

40° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 47°/26° maybe a few snow flurries.

Geesh, this Winter is never going to let go anywhere it seems! Hope the people involved are able to stay safe.

skb, on the other forum I read, a TV mostly site, they have a section about Royals and Royals adjacent. I learned about Gayatri Devi a most gorgeous woman and her amazing life work. Someone to truly be proud and in awe of!!

ETA: She was born as Princess Gayatri Devi of Cooch BeharMadhya later was aPradesh Politician among other things. Wikipedia had a lot of info on her.

98 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 68° which is nice for sure but the wind blew heavy all day and last night.  The next storm system is hitting California today and the snow level is going to be lower than the last storm but may not be that heavy.  We are supposed to get a bit of rain and I see some drops on the pavement right now but I doubt that it will amount to much. 
Yeah another chance of tornados in the Southern states is pretty scary for them.
I got my lab work done yesterday and the results were mostly pretty good.  Actually a bit better than my last labs so I am happy.  I expected my A1c to be higher as I have relaxed my carb intake a bit so 5.8 is not as good as it has been in the past but I guess if I am still in the 5% range it isn't too bad. 
Electrolytes, lipids and thyroid all normal so that is good.  I see my PCP on Monday so I will see what she has to say but I don't expect anything much.

106 this partly cloudy morning.

Yesterday's high was 50°, today's forecast is 46°/27° with chance of showers in afternoon. Feels really cold for some reason, I'm feeling chilled to the bone and it isn't even "that" cold. I guess maybe it is all the stress leaving my body (and total exhaustion!).

102 this morning.  Rain and snow yesterday and today for a lot of California but nothing here.  Snow in the mountains has Mammoth Mountain ski resort at 28 feet at the summit and 25 feet at the base and expecting 30 inches today!  I would think that this would be about the last of the storms this season, at least that is what is usual. 
Glad you got your car in good shape and can rely on it.  It was a big thing for me when I was up on the mountain, here in town not so much still I like to be able to depend on it.

107 this cloudy morning.

48° was the high yesterday but for some reason it felt colder. Today's forecast is 45°/33° with possible showers and possible snow overnight. Road will be a muddy mess again the mail lady got stuck yesterday bringing my package. She said she won't come down if road is bad and will leave my delivery at neighbor's house. Can't wait for the rain/snow to finally quit!!

Just got done with a 9 day vegetarian period due to religious reasons. I got to taste some of the goodies and also feasted on some sweets here and there.
From today, I'm determined to take a return trip to good BG, but as a matter of record I must post that I started out with a fasting of 162 today. The actual number maybe 130-135 as my meter reads a bit higher than actual and at higher levels the inaccuracy also increases.

105 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 57° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 63° today and 74° Saturday and Sunday, pretty much Spring like weather.  Yesterday it got very cloudy and dark around 1:30PM and them we had a thunder storm downpour with thunder, lightening and hail!  It only lasted for a couple of hours but we ended up with just under 1/4 inch plus the hail which turned the ground white.  This was totally unexpected.
Yeah some times it isn't possible to be as carb free as you would like but getting back to better numbers is worth the effort.

Wally, you will appreciate this... on the other site I participate in (a TV site) someone posted that the latest CSI-Vegas there was a program last night about a female body from 40 or so years ago found in Lake Mead. She finished her comment by saying "Most likely fictional". I couldn't help myself and responded that no, it was true and there have been something like 5 sets of remains found there as it was an old mob dumping ground. Silence from her and everyone else that responds in that thread and even no "Like" or "Shocked" icon given my post (not that I really care). All anyone would have to do is google it and see the truth...sometimes I just don't understand people. Granted most of these people are on the East coast, but that news must have made it there too...

ETA: 10:34AM LOL or maybe I have stumbled upon a secret mob relative group?? LOL just kidding!

This is more like our Spring temps and we should be in the mid 70s to the low 80s for most of this month.  Nice for a bit until it gets much hotter.
Yeah it is probably difficult for some people to believe the stories about human remains found in the lake although except for the first one found in a barrel which was pretty surely a mob hit some of the others have been people that drowned while swimming and never recovered because it was so deep.  It was a known mob dumping ground though and some will probably never be found.  Nowadays people have no idea how much the mob owned and ruled Las Vegas.

49° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 44°/29° chance of rain showers.

I think a new scam has been tried on me. this AM at 6:32 I got a message that "they" were unable to deliver to my house and wanted an alternated delivery spot. The phone number left was one digit off a Spam message I got a couple of days ago. I have a Chewy box due today via FedEx. The phone # tracks to a city south of me, FedEx comes out of Missoula, north of me. I am going to give the info to FedEx driver today.

I have never had a message like the above in all the years I have ordered online, plus who would message at 6:32AM??
