I'm on the 5 year plan for colonoscopies. I have had polyps in every test, but they always were benign. If he won't do the mail in test, I'll have to see if he can push the test out until almost the end of the year. By then I will feel better about asking my neighbor to take me...

One thing I have heard about the mail in tests is they often give incorrect readings, resulting in still having to go in for the test. Sigh...

BTW, today was also the last day of my internet pack and I had to renew it. Thought I'd share the details with you, just so that we can compare notes.

For 13 months (12 months + 1 Free month) I paid something like $58.40 + tax for a 30Mbps unlimited plan. Since it is a fibre-optic cable the 30Mbps is almost achievable.

Well, prices here in the US are definitely higher! I pay $40.99/mo for unlimited service. Granted my internet is slow, I haven't tested it in a long time to see what it actually is. I can deal with the slowness, I don't watch many videos or stream movies or things like that. Just read/post on a couple forums and that is about it.  Evenings are usually slower because there are more people online. But for the price, I'm OK with what I have a this point.

106 this partly cloudy morning.

52° was the high yesterday. Today looks to be a better day 52°/32° however there is a lurking chance of snow showers. Then Friday looks like a better chance of some snow/rain showers. Oh well, it is Spring... At least I should be able to get out and get things done in decent weather.

Crossing my fingers that the Gastro will let me give the Cologuard home test a try.

101 this morning.  We got to 70° yesterday and warming up to 77° today and in the 80s for the weekend so pretty nice from my point of view.  Flowers blooming everywhere and lots of hummingbirds, although we have hummingbirds all year around but more now.
Wow, I have cable with download speeds of 300Mbps and upload of 20 Mbps.  We have fiber optic coming but it isn't quite available here yet but it will be shortly and it promises speeds of 1000 Mbps but our cost is a lot more.  Right now my cable is $104/month and that is just for internet, no TV or anything else.  The company installing the fiber optic lines is advertising a lower price than what I am paying now but not by a lot.  The only other options we have here is DSL which is really slow and unreliable, satellite which is quite limited and expensive or a company that is providing wireless that is quite expensive.  I am OK with the cable I have right now but am looking foreward to the fiber optic serrvice.

Our vendor does go up to 1 Gbps but those plans were expensive and for our limited use 30 Mbps was good enough for the job. I use the broadband for the internet and TV. They also bundle in a free telephone connection which we have not opted for, but it;s there if I want to ever use it.

My service is strictly internet. I have Dish Satellite for TV, and only have my iPhone for telephone, no land line. I suppose I could look for a bundle, but here in the boonies there aren't a lot of options. And I am a creature of habit I guess, if it ain't broke don't fix it...so far it all is working well together.

102 this snowy/rainy combo morning.

50° was the high yesterday. Woke this morning to an inch of rainy wet snow! :( Today's forecast is 49°/31° with rain/snow in the morning and a shower or two possible in the afternoon. Glad I don't have to go anywhere, sure dodged the bullet yesterday weather-wise.

I was amazed and saddened that the Gastro didn't get any info on my fall and recovery from the hospital or my pcp. I had to explain as best I could the technical stuff. Fortunately he could access the hospital info and see some of the results. He did bloodwork after looking at that info and ordered an MRI to be done when I was up to another long drive.

He said I looked good and seemed healing well. I asked about the colonoscopy and he said not to even worry about that now he didn't want me to have that stress right now. Phew!

It seems from his responses and quick exam, that some of the things I was told at the care facility (and repeated to him) were overkill and seemingly meant to scare me a bit... my Gastro even picked up on that... Puzzling...

107 this morning.  We got to 78° yesterday and it is heading to 85° today.  We are over the rain and this is usually the end of rainy season for us.  From now on we are going to be dry and getting warmer.
Well your appointment with the Gastro seems like it was mostly good news.  It seems that nowadays it is harder to get medical info transferred from one place to another. I think mostly because of HIPAA rules.  I know I had to sign a form for my PCP and my Cardiologist for them to get my hospital results.

That seemed to go pretty well considering the stress you were in. Great news.

104 this extremely foggy morning.

48° was the high yesterday with snow and rain showers on and off most of the day, most of the snow was gone by evening. Today's forecast is 53°/29° with clouds most of day. I can't seem to find a local enough station on Wunderground map, the closest one has it snowing this morning, but the other 2 I look at just say cloudy... To me it looks like the cloudy is correct from what I see out the window.

(1/2 hr delay while I fed and gave the kitties water...)

124.8# fasting this morning. Yesterday's weight at dr was after 2 light meals and dressed so I can't really count that...

106 today.  I'm late to the party this morning, got involved in a youtube video that was kind of involved.  We got to 87° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 87° today, and tomorrow, and Monday, and Tuesday and Wednesday!  Glad that I like 87°  `8)
Yeah looking out the window is probably the best thing.  Around here there are a lot of personal weather stations on Weather Underground including mine and they are usually pretty much in sync but the weather can be different in a short distance so I usually only look at nearby stations to me to compare.  They are usually good at showing the temp or if it is raining but mine has no way to show if it is foggy or snowing.

Here is my Wunderground dashboard from my weather station:Wally's weather station

Here'e what my Wunderground station looks like:

Barbara's Weather  I don't know how to change the link to just show my name and not my sort of location...

But I think I am actually a bit North/East from this station.

Wow. Very impressive stats, but I wouldn't know what to do with all that analysis.
