Yep a surprise alright! Per my plan I get 1.5Mbps down or up. That is the highest this company goes! I started checking around and none of the companies I looked at serve my area. Guess for now, until I can search some more that is all I will get. :( One of the joys of living in the boonies!

103 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 71° had about 10 raindrops early evening... Today's forecast is 71°/41° and clear.

Well, I pretty much struck out yesterday with my phone calls. Called the Clinic and they said they did want the forms filled out as it is "easier" for the new dr to just look at those highlights and go from there...sigh, still seems pointless to me but oh well.

Then called internet service and what I get is the most they offer. Checked around and have yet to find another service that covers my area with higher speeds...oh well, again. I will keep looking around maybe at some of the smaller companies...

All in all, kind of a frustrating day.

88 this morning.  We had a high of 92° yesterday and it is going to be 94° today.  It looks like we will be in the mid 90s for the next few days.
Well that is a pain having to fill out forms for all of the things they have on their computer system.  In my clinic the doctors all seem to prefer bringing up all of my history on their computer but I guess it depends on who it is.
When I lived on the mountain we had no internet service available by cable and I had satellite with Hughes Net.  It was really the only thing available at the time and it was expensive and not all that good but it was much faster than what you have now.  There was a cap at I think 50GB a month on downloads but I rarely got close to that.  Starlink is an option that wasn't around then and I think it may be kind of expensive also but not sure.  It is designed to provide better internet access for remote areas so may be worth looking into.  OTOH it depends on how much you need faster service and if it is worth paying for.

Yeah, at this point I get by with what "speed" I get. I will keep looking and maybe waiting for some special offer to show up in the mail from anyone else.

I think Starlink has 100% coverage over the USA and should be able to service very remote areas easily. It's worth trying to get in touch with them.

I searched for Starlink Internet Montana and nothing but lots of other choices come up. Does it have another name?

115 this sunny Mother's Day morning.

68° was the high yesterday, again with about 10 raindrops in the afternoon. Today's forecast is 72°/48° no rain in. forecast but guess I should expect some showers in the afternoon...

When I searched Starlink Internet I got lists of other companies and the few I looked at don't serve my area. Oddly enough as I was driving home from the PO yesterday there was a small sign on the side of the road about local high speed internet. Of course there was no place to park and someone was right behind me so I couldn't stop. Tomorrow I have to go up to town for my MRI so I will try to see the sign when I am out.

Trying not to worry about the MRI results. Not nervous about the test, I've had them before, jus the results...

108 this morning.  We got to 93° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 95° today and high 90s for the rest of the week.
Happy Mothers Day Barbara!  What is interesting is that the Federal Government has provided large amounts of money for companies to provide "high speed" internet service to rural areas and that is what the company that installed fiber to our community used.  It is also strange that we had two other established companies that didn't take advantage of that and would not upgrade their current subscribers and will lose a ton of their customers to this new company.  I think your area should surely qualify as in need of a better system and it seems that some company would take advantage of that.  It would be interesting to see what you find out about that sign.
You may be nervous about the results but it is far better to find out about anything sooner than later and you know that.  OTOH if the scan shows nothing then you have that in your favor.  My Cardiologist had me have a CT scan when I had come out of the hospital because the test results showed that I had heart failure and that scan showed that I have nodules on my thyroid that could be cancerous and that was not on the radar at all.  Since I have had two biopsies and both showed negative so that is good but still it is best to find out as early as possible.

Thanks Wally!

Yeah, In know there is no need to worry until there is something wrong. Actually there is no family history of liver problems so there is that. My mom had breast cancer so I was expecting that. I am going to try to just let this liver stuff go and have the MRI then worry if there is any thing to worry about.

Since I have to fast before the MRI,I am going to eat later today so I am not so hungry in the morning. Probably won't do a bedtime test tonight.

104 this sunny morning.

72° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 80°/47° with sun. 10 day forecast looks like very nice weather, hope it stays that way!

I am not nervous about the actual MRI, it is waiting for the results and what they might be. I have never been a pacer before but after my injury, pacing seems to calm me some. Just the moving around I find soothing (maybe because for a while that was really hard to do!). Yesterday's step count sure showed that, once I get home today may be the same thing.

Well, I am fasting for 8 hours (in the middle about now) so no food/drink for me, but the kitties sure don't know the meaning of that word and want to be fed NOW! So better get going...

101 this morning.  We got to 93° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 96° today.  There is an influence from the South and some tropical moisture may bring a very small chance of a brief shower but that is doubtful but the humidity is higher than usual.
Good luck with the MRI Barbara.  Of course we all hope that it comes out with good news.  I am seeing my Urologist Wednesday as a follow up because I have an elevated PSA that he has been following for the last year or so.  I don't expect any problem there but it is a good thing to keep an eye on.

Yes, that would help divert the mind and with the step count as well. A win-win situation.

102 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high here at home was 75°. Up in town where MRI was located was much closer to 80°. Today's forecast is 77°/51° and sunny with very slight chance of showers or thunderstorm.

MRI went well, things have been updated since my last one, years ago. They now have earphones that play music that partially drowns out some of the noise. It did take a long time as dr ordered the MRI w/o contrast and then another w/contrast so I had the process 2X. Now it is just wait and see what the results are.

My goodness! My lilacs are all in bloom now and they smell wonderful!! I cut some and brought them in the house. On the drive up to town, I passed so many in bloom making it a lovely drive.
